Jan Josef Liefers (born August 8, 1964 in Dresden), is a German actor, producer, director and musician.

Biography

Liefers est le fils du réalisateur Karlheinz Liefers et de l'actrice Brigitte Liefers-Wähner. Après son apprentissage, il a étudié à la Hochschule für Schauspielkunst Ernst Busch à Berlin. De 1987 à 1990, il a joué au Deutsches Theater Berlin; Après cela, il s'est rendu au théâtre Thalia à Hambourg. Son premier rôle au cinéma fut Alexander von Humboldt dans le film allemand Die Besteigung des Chimborazo.

Suite à cela, il a joué dans quelques rôles de film mineurs, mais en 1996, il a réalisé sa percée avec le film de Helmut Dietl, Rossini. Il a reçu le Bayerischer Filmpreis pour son rôle (Bodo Kriegnitz). Ce succès lui a valu des rôles dans plusieurs films allemands. Il joue le rôle d'un pathologiste dans la célèbre série Tatort depuis 2002.

Jan Liefers est un motocycliste passionné. En 2007, il a entamé un voyage de sa vie de Quito (Équateur) à la Patagonie, en Amérique du Sud. Malheureusement, son voyage a pris fin prématurément lorsqu'il s'est blessé en évitant une collision avec un jeune enfant qui est sorti en courant devant sa moto. En 2008, un film du voyage intitulé "70 ° West - Entscheidung au Pérou" (Décision au Pérou) a été diffusé sur la chaîne de télévision allemande DMAX.

Il a épousé l'actrice et chanteuse Anna Loos en 2004. Auparavant, il était marié à Alexandra Tabakova, une actrice russe.

The film is about Simon (Bill Skarsgård), growing up in a working-class family on the outskirts of Gothenburg during World War II. He is very talented and always felt different and an outsider. Against his parents' approval, he seeks education and the arts which as a working class kid normally not attend. There he meets Isaak (Karl Linnertorp), the son of a wealthy Jewish bookseller who fled persecution in Nazi Germany. The two boys and their families' lives are interwoven while war rages in Europe. At the end of the war, it becomes clear to Simon that his life, family and his very identity will no longer be the same.

At the Central Park Zoo, Marty the zebra is celebrating his tenth birthday, but longs to see the rest of the world from outside his pampered life at the zoo, believing that he can find wide-open spaces to run around in, like in Connecticut. Marty's best friend, Alex the lion, attempts to cheer up his friend by singing Frank Sinatra's "New York, New York" with him. Still unsatisfied, Marty gets some tips from the zoo's penguins: Skipper, Kowalski, Rico, and Private. The penguins are similarly trying to escape the zoo. Marty's friends — Alex the lion, Melman the giraffe, and Gloria the hippopotamus — realize Marty's folly and try to follow him. The four, along with the penguins and the chimpanzees Mason and his silent friend Phil, eventually find themselves at Grand Central Station, but are quickly sedated by tranquilizer darts when Alex's attempt to communicate with humans is mistaken for aggression. The zoo, under pressure from animal-rights activists, is forced to ship the animals, by sea, to a Kenyan wildlife preserve. During their travels, the penguins escape from their enclosure and take over the ship, intent on taking it to Antarctica. Their antics on the bridge cause the crates containing Alex, Marty, Melman, and Gloria to fall off the boat and wash ashore on Madagascar.
