Jason Dean Hall (born 1972) is an American screenwriter and former actor. He played the recurring character of Devon MacLeish in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. He had a guest starring role on Without A Trace as Jesse in Season Two. Hall attended Phillips Exeter Academy. Hall studied business, English and cinema at the University of Southern California.
As a screenwriter Hall co-wrote Paranoia (with Barry Levy) and wrote the screenplay for American Sniper, for which he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay.

Biography
Jason Dean Hall a fait des études en cinéma à l'université de Californie du Sud. Devenu acteur, il tient notamment le rôle, secondaire mais récurrent, du chanteur du groupe dans lequel joue Oz dans la série Buffy contre les vampires. Il abandonne par la suite sa carrière d'acteur pour devenir scénariste. Son troisième scénario pour un long métrage, celui du film American Sniper (2014), lui vaut une nomination pour l'Oscar du meilleur scénario adapté à la 87e cérémonie des Oscars. Il fait ensuite ses débuts de réalisateur avec un autre film de guerre, Thank You for Your Service, qui sort en 2017.Best films

Growing up in Texas, Chris Kyle is taught by his father how to shoot a rifle and hunt deer.
