Biography
Jean-Jacques Prunès est né en 1956. Il étudie les arts graphiques à Paris de 1971 à 1974, puis le cinéma d’animation de 1977 à 1979. Il se forme aussi aux États-Unis, dans les studios Hanna-Barbera, puis travaille à Shanghai, Dublin, Budapest et Paris.Il collabore à la réalisation de plusieurs longs métrages d'animation, tels que Astérix et la Surprise de César, Astérix chez les Bretons, La Table Tournante, Robinson et Compagnie.
Il travaille aussi pour la télévision, notamment pour la série Histoires comme ça.

When God distributed wiseness and foolishness through a newly created world, one of the cherubs accidentally dropped all the foolishness on a tiny village called Chelm. Chanticleer is a rooster, whose job is to wake the sun up every morning, but the Grand Duke of Owls, who hates sunshine sabotages him to make it look like the sun comes up on its own without Chanticleer's crow. Detested by the farm animals, he leaves the farm to look for work in the city. Afterward, perpetual darkness and rainfall threaten the farm with flooding. Turning out to be a story read to a young human boy named Edmond, it seems that the flooding has found his family and when his mother goes to help them stop it, he calls out to Chanticleer and is heard by the Grand Duke himself who takes a dislike to Edmond's attempts to foil his plans. He turns him into a kitten to devour him, but he is saved at the last second by Pattou, a bloodhound from Chanticleer's farm. He is accompanied by Snipes, a claustrophobic magpie, and Peepers, an intellectual field mouse, as well as several animals from the farm hoping to find Chanticleer and apologize to him for their behavior. Edmond accompanies Pattou, Snipes and Peepers to the city while the rest of the animals remain at Edmond's house. En route, they are attacked by Hunch; the Duke's diminutive nephew, assigned by him to stop Edmond and the others from finding Chanticleer. They narrowly escape and enter the city.

Enfant, Robinson etait fascine par les lourds vaisseaux qui remontaient la Tamise en passant devant la propriete familiale des Crusoe. Sa premiere visite a Londres l'effraie et renforce sa vocation maritime. Il sera marin. Dix ans plus tard, il navigue enfin sur un majestueux voilier quand un naufrage le precipite, seul survivant, sur une ile deserte. Le temps passe. Un jour, une tribu cannibale debarque sur une plage. Robinson la fait fuir, sauvant ainsi l'homme destine a etre devore, qu'il surnomme Vendredi. Ils vont s'apprivoiser et, peut-etre, partir ensemble.

The movie begins when Obelix falls in love with the chief's niece, Panacea. His heart is quickly broken when he hears that she is due to be married to the handsome Tragicomix. The two lovers are walking in the woods when they are captured by a group of Romans led by a fresh new recruit looking to impress the Centurion of the Roman Camp. The Centurion is infuriated, knowing that the Gauls will attack. Panacea, Tragicomix and the new recruit are sent to the farthest outpost of the Roman empire (in the Sahara) while the Centurion and his troops prepare for the battle.
