Jeremy Sinden (14 June 1950 – 29 May 1996) was an English actor who specialised in playing eccentric military men and overgrown schoolboys.
He was the brother of the West End theatre producer Marc Sinden.
Jeremy Sinden and his brother Marc were part of the 'Na-Na' chorus on Hey Jude, recording and filming the song with the Beatles at Twickenham Film Studios on 4 September 1968.

Biography
Jeremy Sinden was the husband of actress Delia Lindsay from 1978 until his death from lung cancer in 1996 at the age of 45. This was, coincidentally 12 weeks after his best friend Simon Cadell, born 5 weeks after him, also died of lung cancer. Cadell's father, John Cadell, had been Donald Sinden's theatrical agent for over 30 years. They had two daughters, Kezia (born 18 December 1979) and Harriet (born 1 July 1984).He was the brother of the West End theatre producer Marc Sinden.

The film is based on the true story of Derek Bentley. Within the film, Bentley (Eccleston) is an illiterate young adult with developmental disabilities who falls into a gang led by a younger teenager named Chris Craig (Reynolds). The two become trapped by the police, who tell Chris to put down his gun. Bentley says, "Let him have it, Chris." Chris begins firing, killing one officer and wounding another. Because he is a minor (under 18), Chris is given a minor sentence, but Bentley, although he did not shoot anyone, is sentenced to death, on the basis that his statement to Chris was an instigation to begin shooting.

The galaxy is in a civil war, and spies for the Rebel Alliance have stolen plans to the Galactic Empire's Death Star, a heavily armed and armored space station capable of destroying entire planets. Rebel leader Princess Leia is in possession of the plans, but her ship is captured by Imperial forces under the command of the evil Lord Darth Vader. Before she is captured Leia hides the plans in the memory of an astromech droid called R2-D2, along with a holographic recording. The droid, accompanied by fellow protocol droid C-3PO, escape from the captured ship to the desert planet Tatooine.
