Boeven has worked in television and film, primarily in Germany, but has also worked in the United States and Canada. Boeven's first American feature, Marching out of Time, directed by Anton Vassil, started his international career. Since then, Boeven has starred and played in a multitude of feature films and television programs. Boeven also appeared in the feature film Hart's War (2002).
Boeven also starred in Rang Rasiya an Indian drama film based on the life of the 19th century Indian painter Raja Ravi Varma.

Christian (James Deen) is a wealthy young man with ties to Los Angeles' independent film industry, financing low budget horror films. At the start of the film, he is having dinner with his girlfriend Tara (Lindsay Lohan) and his personal assistant Gina (Amanda Brooks) and her boyfriend Ryan (Nolan Funk). Christian recently got Ryan work as a lead in a film he is financing, which he achieved by threatening to revoke his funding for the project if Ryan was not hired. Christian also reveals that he and Tara have an open relationship, as he discuses using dating apps to find partners for the two to hook up with for group sex. Ryan asks if Christian ever gets jealous, but Christian claims that he doesn't, as he then outs Tara as bisexual. He also says that he trusts Tara never to fall in love with anyone he brings into their bed for casual sex. Ryan considers Christian and Tara's casual notions towards sex scandalous but refuses to condemn the two.

Freerunner sees eight freerunners racing against time, to scan a collar on three check points across the city area within an hour. Each collar is fitted with an explosive which will detonate if they leave the green race zone, are the last runner to scan a checkpoint more than three seconds after the previous racer, or if the race owner, Mr. Frank (Dyer), manually detonates via remote device. The winner of the race is the first to make it to the final checkpoint within 60 minutes and will receive a prize of million dollars. The losers will all die.

Depuis la mort de sa mère et la disparition de son père, Mike Camber est un bon garçon qui vit avec son oncle en Allemagne. Vincent, un dealer de drogue vole une voiture destinée à la casse et appartenant à Achmed, placé en conditionnel. Vincent passe chercher son ami Mike Camber. Vincent se moque de Mike qui écrit toujours à son père sans jamais recevoir de réponses. Ils sont repérés par la police qui les poursuit. Mike perd le contrôle de la voiture qui s'écrase dans un camion. Vincent parvient à s’enfuir. Mike est arrêté et est faussement accusé mais refuse de dénoncer Vincent qui conseil à Mike de réduire son temps d’emprisonnement à six mois en allant dans la prison « La forteresse des loups » au lieu des deux ans. La forteresse est une prison pour mineurs qui a des méthodes éducatives militaires et qui est dirigée d'une main de fer par le professeur Schmidt. Mike fait connaissance avec Timmy et de Robert qui fait tabasser Mike par son gang. Les gardiens interviennent et emprisonnent Mike. Mike tombe amoureux de Marion, une jeune délinquante, et tous les deux découvrent que Schmidt fabrique de l'ecstasy dans un laboratoire clandestin de la prison. Le directeur veut leur mort. Mike et Marion s'évadent, mais la police locale, et même son ami Vincent, sont impliqués dans se trafique de drogue. Schmidt détient la mère de Marion et oblige celle-ci à travailler pour lui. Robert butte Timmy. Vincent essaie de tuer Mike et Marion. Sur la course, avec nulle part où aller, trahi par ses amis, Mike se tourne vers la seule personne qu'il peut faire confiance, et qu'il connaît à peine : Camber son père, qui travail pour la brigade américaine des stupéfiants.

During World War II, U.S. Army intelligence officer First Lieutenant Thomas Hart (Farrell) is captured by German forces. While interrogating Hart, the Germans coerce him to divulge intelligence by taking away his boots, causing his feet to become frostbitten and badly injured, and leaving him, naked, in a very cold cell. He is then transferred by train to Stalag VI-A prisoner of war camp at Hemer, Germany. While en route, a P-51 Mustang attacks (the letters POW were painted on the top of the train, but got covered by thick snow). To save themselves, the POWs leave the train and spell P-O-W with their bodies and prevent further strafing.
