L'histoire commence en 1882 à Saint-Pétersbourg, en Russie. Sacha est une jeune fille russe de l'aristocratie. Son grand-père Oloukine, qu'elle admire et aime beaucoup, est un grand explorateur qui a disparu à bord de son brise-glace, le Davaï, parti en expédition scientifique à la conquête du pôle Nord. Le tsar reproche au défunt grand-père de Sacha d'avoir perdu le Davaï, un brise-glace à la coque extrêmement résistante qu'il avait fait construire à grands frais. Il a promis une récompense d'un million de roubles à qui retrouverait le Davaï, mais les recherches menées pour retrouver le brise-glaces n'ont rien donné. Un jour, Sacha découvre par hasard un feuillet manuscrit de la main d'Oloukine indiquant qu'il n'a pas emprunté le chemin que l'on croyait pour gagner le pôle nord : il n'est pas passé par l'est mais par l'ouest. Le soir même, les parents de Sacha donnent un bal où est invitée la haute société pétersbourgeoise, dont le prince Tomsky, qui vient d'être nommé nouveau conseiller scientifique du tsar. Ce bal doit être le premier où Sacha sera présentée à la haute société. La jeune fille a écouté à la dérobée une conversation du prince et sait que celui-ci déteste Oloukine. Elle accepte néanmoins d'ouvrir le bal avec lui, mais, pendant et après la danse, elle tente de le convaincre que les secours n'ont pas cherché le Davaï au bon endroit. Le prince Tomsky en prend prétexte pour faire un scandale et humilier publiquement Sacha et ses parents. La famille de la jeune fille tombe alors en disgrâce.

Fawn has rescued a baby hawk with a broken wing. She tries to hide it from the others as she tries to take it out of the forest as hawks eat fairies. The hawks arrive to attack and to reclaim the baby, but the scout-fairies are able to fend them off. Fawn is reprimanded by Queen Clarion for only following her heart and not her head. After helping the baby hawk return to its rightful place, Fawn hears an unfamiliar roar and decides to fly to the depths of the forest to investigate. She finds a strange creature that has never been seen before. After observing its behavior she surmises that it has traits similar to many different animals she's encountered, save for one peculiar activity. The beast is building mysterious towers of rock in each of the four sides of Pixie Hollow. She names him Gruff.

Leon S. Kennedy sneaks into the Eastern Slav Republic (a fictional country that separated from the Soviet Union) to verify rumors that Bio-Organic Weapons (BOWs) are being used in the country's civil war, which the U.S. and Russia are preparing to intervene in. The film begins with Sid Soupir admiring the girl of his dreams, Angie. His friend, Pierre (also called Tiger), encourages him to talk to her. Sid agrees but decides to impress Angie with his skateboarding moves first. At first he succeeds in getting Angie's attention, but then he crashes into a vegetable cart. Angie's two friends, Margot and Clemence, laugh while Angie pulls Sid to his feet. Sid offers to make plans with Angie as Angie's sort-of boyfriend, Virgile, and his friends watch from a distance. Angie agrees and offers to get Sid's cellphone number but Sid replies he does not have a cellphone at all. Tiger butts in, making up a lie that Sid had to cancel his cellphone plan because a crazy Russian ex-girlfriend was stalking him. Unimpressed, Angie's friends lead her away.

People from near and far are arrive in Agrabah to celebrate the wedding of Aladdin and Princess Jasmine. After a surreal dream of the two of them menacing a city as giants, Beavis and Butt-head wake up to realize that someone has stolen their television. The pair then embark on a quest to find it. After several mishaps involving searching for a television, they visit a low-quality motel that advertises "TVs in every room". There, they encounter Muddy Grimes, who is waiting for two hired hitmen (later revealed to be the same people who stole Beavis and Butt-head's television) to murder his wife, Dallas. Muddy (who is drunk), thinking that Beavis and Butt-head are the killers he has contacted, says that they must "do" (murder) his wife. Thinking that by "do" Muddy means "score with", Butt-head convinces Beavis that both of them can "score" as well as, they'll get paid and they can buy a new television. Muddy hands them a photograph of Dallas with instructions on where to find her. He then drives them to the airport to catch a plane to Las Vegas.
