Julio César Cedillo (born 1970) is a Mexican American actor, best known for the title role in the 2005 film The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada.
Cedillo grew up in Fort Worth, Texas. In 1988, he graduated from Dunbar High School. He appeared in several television productions in the 1990s including Wishbone as Travis del Rio, Oakdale's Sports and Games store owner. He made his film debut in 2000 in All the Pretty Horses. Other films include The Rookie, Serving Sara, The Life of David Gale, The Alamo, and Cowboys & Aliens.

During a kidnapping raid in Chandler, Arizona, idealistic FBI Special Weapons and Tactics Teams agent Kate Macer (Emily Blunt), her partner Reggie Wayne (Daniel Kaluuya), and the rest of her team discover dozens of corpses within the walls of a house along with an improvised explosive device in the backyard shed, which kills two officers. In 1873, New Mexico Territory, an unnamed loner (Daniel Craig) wakes up in the desert being injured with no memory and with a strange metal object on his wrist. After killing three drifters who think he might be worth bounty money, he takes their clothes, weapons and a horse. He wanders into the small town of Absolution where the local preacher Meacham (Clancy Brown) treats his wound. After the stranger subdues Percy Dolarhyde (Paul Dano), a volatile drunk who has been terrorizing the town, Sheriff Taggart (Keith Carradine) recognizes the stranger as Jake Lonergan, a wanted outlaw, and attempts to arrest him. Jake beats up the posse sent to take him in and nearly escapes, but a mysterious woman named Ella Swenson (Olivia Wilde) knocks him out.
