Justin Chatwin (born October 31, 1982) is a Canadian film and television actor best known for his roles in films like War of the Worlds, The Invisible and Dragonball: Evolution and most recently in the Showtime dramedy Shameless.

Biography

Fils d'une réalisatrice de documentaire et d'un ingénieur, il étudie le commerce à l'Université of British Columbia. Il a entre autres été choisi pour incarner Son Goku dans le film Dragonball Evolution inspiré par le suprêmement et extrêmement connu manga Dragon Ball et réalisé par James Wong.

Justin Chatwin aime la chasse et la pêche. Il a été un ambassadeur pour la fondation Operation Smile.

Chatwin accumule les rôles dans les séries télé et les miniséries dont Taken et un second rôle dans la série à succès Lost. Il a joué le fils de Kevin Nealon dans l'épisode pilote de Weeds, une comédie de la chaine câblée américaine Showtime. De plus, il interprète le rôle de Robbie dans le film La Guerre des mondes de Steven Spielberg. On pourra le voir aux côtés de Patrick Huard dans le drame québécois Funkytown. Depuis 2011, il interprète Jimmy Lishman dans l'adaptation US de Shameless. En 2015 il joue le rôle de Jason Kellerman dans la série a succès Orphan Black au cote de Tatiana Maslany.

Following on from the plot of the last movie, four babies can communicate with each other using 'baby talk', and have knowledge of many secrets. The baby geniuses become involved in a scheme by media mogul Bill Biscane (Jon Voight), later revealed to be known as Kane, who kidnaps children everywhere. Helping the geniuses is a legendary superbaby named Kahuna (he became powerful due to drinking a special chemical, much to the envy of his brother Kane), who stops Biscane's plots and saves children from being kidnapped by Biscane and his minions. He joins up with several other babies in an attempt to stop Biscane, who intends to use a state-of-the-art satellite system to control the world's population by brainwashing them and forcing people to not be active and watch TV the rest of their lives.
