Kevin Dwight Daniels Jr., known as Kevin Daniels (born December 9, 1976), is an American actor who started his career with a supporting role in the 1998 film Twelfth Night, or What You Will by director Nicholas Hytner. He has appeared in the film Hollywood Homicide, as well as the TV series Law & Order, Frasier, Chuck, House and Modern Family, the latter in the recurring role of Longines in the episodes "Dance Dance Revelation", "Boys' Night", "Go Bullfrogs!" & "Snip". He has since participated in more than 20 productions. He is best known for playing Don Miller. A Firefighter/EMT for the Baltimore city fire department in the movie Ladder 49 and the USA show "Sirens" where he plays Hank St. Clare a Chicago EMT.
He is starring in the 2012 Broadway play Magic/Bird playing the lead role of Magic Johnson.
Daniels attended the Juilliard School as a member of the Drama Division's Group 27 (1994–1998).

Hope (Heather Graham) is a night shift waitress who has made several mistakes in her life. She leaves Ohio for Los Angeles, trying to make a living as an entertainer. Hope realizes that she needs to break free from drugs, if she wishes to make her dream come true; so she cuts off all ties to Will. The film opens with Baltimore firefighter Jack Morrison (Joaquin Phoenix) saving a man's life in a massive four-alarm fire in a 20-story concrete grain elevator/warehouse in the Canton waterfront neighborhood of Baltimore, Maryland; however the grain being stored in the warehouse explodes, sending Jack falling through several floors, breaking his leg on landing. The film follows the efforts of the other men in his unit, Ladder Company 49, led by the commands of Deputy Chief Mike Kennedy (John Travolta), Jack's longtime mentor, to rescue him while Morrison tries to reach a safe area of the burning structure. Interspersed with the current rescue efforts are a series of flashbacks showing how Jack joined the fire department, his first meeting (at a supermarket) with the woman who would eventually become his wife (Jacinda Barrett), his relationship with his children, and the bonds he formed and the trials and tribulations he endured with his fellow firefighters.

Sergeant Joe Gavilan (Harrison Ford) is a financially strapped Hollywood homicide detective who began moonlighting as a real estate broker seven years ago. His partner is K. C. Calden (Josh Hartnett), a much younger officer who teaches yoga on the side and wants to be an actor. The duo are assigned to investigate the murders of four men, members of a rap group called H2OClick who were gunned down in a nightclub by two unidentified assailants.
