Laurent Herbiet (né le 9 août 1961 à Annay, Nièvre) est un réalisateur et scénariste français.
Au cinéma, il débute en tant que réalisateur avec un court-métrage, Le Poids du Ciel, adapté de Jean Giono, puis réalise des films publicitaires et institutionnels. En 2006, il tourne son premier long-métrage, Mon Colonel, produit et co-écrit par Costa Gavras. Laurent Herbiet a ensuite été le co-scénariste d’Alain Resnais sur Les Herbes folles (sortie 2009), Vous n'avez encore rien vu (sortie 2012), Aimer, Boire et Chanter (sortie 2013) et Arrivées & Départs (2014, inachevé).
À la télévision, il a co-écrit L'Appel du 18 juin pour France 2. Il a co-écrit et réalisé pour Canal Plus Adieu De Gaulle, adieu (Meilleur film - Luchon 2009), pour France 2 Le Chant des Sirènes (Meilleur film - La Rochelle 2011 ; Prix du Syndicat de la Critique - Meilleur téléfilm 2014), Manipulations (Meilleur film - La Rochelle 2012) et la série Malaterra (Épisodes 4, 6, 7, 8), pour France 3 Les Trois Silences. Biography
Fils d’agriculteurs né en 1961, Laurent Herbiet débute en tant qu’assistant-réalisateur sur des films d’entreprises durant ses études supérieures à Strasbourg. Après un passage par le cinéma des armées (ECPA) pour son service militaire, il travaille en tant que premier assistant-réalisateur et conseiller technique sur plus de 50 films pour le cinéma comme pour la télévision (dont The Son of the Pink Panther, Adultère mode d’emploi, Ever After, Voyages, Une pour Toutes, CQ, 7 ans de Mariage, Pas sur la bouche, Palais Royal, Je vous trouve très beau, Enfin Veuve...). Il a collaboré, entre autres, avec Blake Edwards, Christine Pascal, John Badham, Claude Lelouch, Roman Coppola, Didier Bourdon, Valérie Lemercier, Isabelle Mergault et Alain Resnais.Au cinéma, il débute en tant que réalisateur avec un court-métrage, Le Poids du Ciel, adapté de Jean Giono, puis réalise des films publicitaires et institutionnels. Marguerite Muir is a dentist, single and middle-aged, independent and unpredictable of mood. Georges Palet is in his late 50s, married, and unemployed; he too is temperamental, and burdened by something in his past (unexplained but possibly criminal). When Georges discovers the discarded wallet from Marguerite's stolen handbag and hands it in to the police station, he allows himself to imagine the door opening to a romantic encounter. Marguerite initially has other ideas, but is later drawn towards Georges. Georges's wife Suzanne, Marguerite's best friend Josépha and two policemen are drawn into the entanglement of their lives. Georges and Marguerite share a passion for aviation, which leads to a flight with Suzanne in Marguerite's plane, while a farmer watches apprehensively from below.
