Lee Seung-Cheol (Hangul: 이승철; also spelled Lee Seung-Chul; born December 5, 1966 in Seoul) is a South Korean singer. He was the main vocalist of Boohwal, a South Korean rock band, until 1989 when he left the band and released his first solo album, Don't Say Good-Bye (안녕이라고 말하지마). In 2005 his 7th album, The Livelong Day, won him Korean Music Awards for best male singer. He has been working as a judge in reality television series Superstar K. On August 27, 2014, Lee performed "Arirang", "Bridge over Troubled Water" and "The Day" at the opening ceremony of the 65th Annual UN DPI/NGO Conference.

Lee is also known for his song Girls Generation, which was covered and used as the group name in 2007 by a nine-member girl group Girls' Generation.

His Japanese debut was in 2006, under A&M Japan. His debut Japanese album is entitled Sound of Double. In October 2010, Lee represented Korea and performed at the 7th Asia Song Festival, organised by Korea Foundation for International Culture Exchange, at the Seoul Olympic Stadium.

K and Cream first meet each other in high school & both are orphans; K was abandoned by his mother after his father died of cancer who nevertheless left him a sizable sum of money, while Cream lost her entire family in a traffic accident. The two become soulmates and come to share a home, though K watches Cream switch from boyfriend to boyfriend as he keeps his own feelings for her to himself. Knowing that Cream's biggest fear is to be left alone, K keeps the fact that he has terminal cancer a secret, and instead he urges her to marry a kind and healthy man. When Cream announces that she is in love with affluent doctor Joo-hwan, K is left heartbroken, but is satisfied that she has met her ideal partner.

Mu-hoon, a gangster in Busan, is the half brother of Ha-young, a successful photographer. When Mu-hoon is caught having an affair with his boss' mistress, Eun-joo, the two run off with their organization's money. They are soon caught, but although Mu-hoon escapes, Eun-joo is given a scar on her cheek as punishment, and sold into prostitution. A year later, Mu-hoon finds a photograph of Eun-joo in Ha-young's studio, but although he is able to rescue her, he is eventually tracked down by the mob. Threatened with Eun-joo's death, Mu-hoon accepts a job to kill a man, only to discover that his target is in fact his best friend, Man-soo.
