Allan Leigh Lawson (born 21 July 1945) is a British film and stage actor, director and writer.
He met model Twiggy in 1984. In 1988, they both worked in the film Madame Sousatzka and were married on 23 September that year in Tony Walton's back yard in Sag Harbor, Long Island. The couple reside in West London, where Lawson looks after his wife's business affairs and her involvement with Littlewoods catalogue. Lawson and Twiggy also own a home in Southwold, Suffolk.
He adopted Twiggy's daughter Carly, who took his surname. Lawson has played an active role in his children's lives, including his nephew, club DJ Saul Dismont, who is the son of Lawson's sister and Bermuda politician Russell Dismont.

Allan Leigh Lawson (born 21 July 1945) is a British film and stage actor, director and writer.
Biography
In 1976, Lawson and his first wife, Mondy, were divorced. He met actress Hayley Mills in 1975 when they performed in London's West End in A Touch of Spring; and the following year, she bore him a son, Jason. Lawson also became stepfather to Crispian Mills, Hayley's son with director Roy Boulting. During that time, he appeared alongside Hayley's father Sir John Mills in the film The Devil's Advocate (1977). The Lawson-Mills liaison ended in the early 1980s.He met model Twiggy in 1984. A young woman tearfully leaves her son (Eugene Simon) to live with his grandmother and promises to return for him someday. The film tells the tale of two sisters, Violet and Grace, who live a sheltered life within a secluded New England mansion, inherited from their parents. It is heavily implied that their father abused them during their childhood throughout the film, believing that they were "gifted" and home-schooling them whilst practically forcing them to complete recreational activities, such as painting and playing musical instruments, and hurting them either physically or mentally if he was not pleased with their effort. Because of their gloomy childhood, the two sisters have formed a strong bond and are incredibly close, however have also lost touch with reality and often come up with "evil" schemes together, their most recent being to lure a young traveller, whom Violet encounters in a bar, into their home and seduce him. It is never revealed why they have chosen to do this, however it is suggested that the sisters, especially Grace, want a baby to raise together.

The film begins in 1917 with the opening of the 1000th Woolworth's store, known as the Woolworth Tower. Barbara is seen with her family as her grandfather, Frank Woolworth, delivers a speech. The film begins with a feast in a great hall during winter. The king is ashamed of how comfortable they have all grown to live, and questions the bravery of all knights present. A knight on horseback storms through the door and the crowd falls silent as the knight, all in green and carrying a large axe, walks up to the throne. He asks if any man has enough courage to challenge him to a game. The king shames the knights around the hall for not volunteering, and in an act of showmanship announces he himself shall take the challenge given by the green knight. Finally, a young squire named Gawain speaks up and accepts the challenge in lieu of the king. The knight tells Gawain that he has one chance to behead him, but then the knight gets to return the favor. The king grants Gawain knighthood so that he can fulfill the requirements of the challenge. Gawain beheads the knight but then the knight's torso walks up and grabs the head and puts it back on his body. The crowd is stunned and the knight tells Gawain to kneel so he can make his blow. The knight then pauses and considers that Gawain is merely a boy who has not yet even grown a beard. The knight says he will return in one year, enough for the boy to grow a beard, to claim his side of the bargain. Gawain questions the knight "must I spend the year awaiting death at your hand?".
