Biography
Liliana Komorowska se forme à L'Académie de théâtre Alexandre Zelwerowicz de Varsovie, dont elle sort diplômée en 1979. Elle fait ses débuts sur scène l'année suivante dans la pièce d'Arthur Miller, Les Sorcières de Salem, où elle tient le rôle d'Abigail qui lui vaut de recevoir le Prix de la meilleure actrice, décerné par l'Académie de la Télévision Polonaise. Durant cette période, elle joue de nombreux autres rôles marquants, notamment, celui de Roxane, dans la pièce Cyrano de Bergerac d'Edmond Rostand, ou encore celui d'une prostituée dans la pièce Mort d'un commis voyageur, d'Arthur Miller, aux côtés du grand comédien Tadeusz Łomnicki.En 1985, Liliana Komorowska choisit de rester vivre aux États-Unis après y avoir tourné War and Love, sous la direction de Moshé Mizrahi (réalisateur). The story is about Alec McCall (Matthew Modine), a spy, who teams up with Clements, a chimp, to save the day. He has a change of heart when his boss, Flick, turns out to be bad and wants to perform experiments on the chimp. These experiments are to create chimp soldiers for the highest bidder. McCall takes Clements away on the run to his hometown where they meet a genius boy named Michael (Seth Adkins). Michael wants to impress a girl by playing on the football team. The coach (Jeffrey Tambor) allows him on the team only if he tutors the star players who are on the brink of being kicked off due to bad grades. Meanwhile Flick sends his goons out to find the chimp. Michael's single mom, a computer programmer, has her eye on McCall who rents out a room from her. She does not know about Clements, but Michael does. After the goons fail to get the chimp, Flick goes to get Clements himself by breaking in gassed Clements and Michael. Flick takes them back to his headquarters so the doctor (Gilbert Gottfried) can perform his experiments. McCall rescues them and they head back for the Homecoming football game. Michael hopes to play in order to impress the cheerleader he likes. Soon the bad guys show up and dress as football players to play in the game and get Clements. Clements and McCall join the team to stop Flick from winning. Michael wins the game and Flick is arrested for animal cruelty. Michael gets the girl and McCall gets Michael's mom. The movie ends with hope for the future.

The opening of the film shows us a montage of Adolf Hitler's life from the years 1899-1907. The 10-year old Hitler (Thomas Sangster) is shown to be arrogant and disobedient. He has a stern, ill-tempered father, Alois Hitler (Ian Hogg), and a doting mother, Klara Hitler (Stockard Channing), who indulges his dreams of becoming a great artist. One day, his father dies of a heart attack but the young Hitler shows no empathy or concern. Seven years later, a 17-year old Hitler (Simon Sullivan) applies unsuccessfully to the Vienna Arts Academy but is told he lacks the talent to become an artist. Following his mother’s death, he moves to Vienna permanently but is unable to find work and soon becomes destitute and homeless. Influenced by the city’s prevalent anti-semitism, young Hitler becomes convinced that the Jews and immigrants are to blame for his misfortunes.

The film opens to the sounds of a couple having sex. Afterwards, Carlos the Jackal (Aidan Quinn) kills a spider in its web with his cigarette and evicts the woman (Lucie Laurier) from his room because he claims he has work to do. He is seen donning a disguise, and he walks to a cafe where CIA officer Jack Shaw (Donald Sutherland) is sitting at a table outdoors. He recognizes Shaw and asks for a light. The year is 2078. The planet Sirius 6B, once a thriving mining hub, has been reduced to a toxic wasteland by a civil war between the mining company, known as the New Economic Block (NEB), and the Alliance, a group of former mining and science personnel. Five years into the war, Alliance scientists created and deployed Autonomous Mobile Swords (AMS) — artificially intelligent self-replicating machines that hunt down and kill NEB soldiers on their own. They are nicknamed "screamers" because of a high-pitched noise they emit as they attack. Screamers track targets by their heartbeats, so Alliance soldiers wear "tabs" which broadcast a signal canceling out the wearer's heartbeat and rendering them "invisible" to the machines.

Premier jour de la Première Guerre mondiale. Des hassidim, venant en charrettes d’une petite ville de Galicie sont accueillis par le vieux Tag, esprit frondeur, et sa famille dans son auberge (austeria signifie auberge). En carrosse, arrive une Juive fréquentant les milieux aisés de Vienne. Elle fuit et essaie de persuader l’aubergiste de venir avec elle. Il refuse et reste avec sa belle-fille et sa petite-fille qui craignent un pogrom. La servante ukrainienne Jewdocha informe que les Cosaques approchent (nous sommes à proximité de la frontière russe). Une bataille se déroule non loin de l'auberge. D'autres fuyards qui étaient passés auparavant reviennent finalement s'abriter à l'auberge le soir. Parmi eux, le jeune Bum qui porte dans ses bras le corps de sa bien-aimée Asia. Les parents d'Asia et de Bum sont là aussi. Un tzadik (« juste » en hébreu) de Zydaczewo s'arrête lui aussi à l'auberge. Les hassidim se mettent à danser.
