Mamta Kulkarni is a former Bollywood actress. she was part of several commercial successes such as Aashiq Awara (1993), Waqt Hamara Hai (1993), Krantiveer (1994), Karan Arjun (1995), Sabse Bada Khiladi (1995), Baazi (1996), China Gate (1998), Beqabu (1995), and Chhupa Rustam: A Musical Thriller (2001) among others. Her performance in 'Aashiq Awara' (1993) won her the 1994 Filmfare Best New Face Award. The film, which launched Saif Ali Khan, was a superhit. In the blockbuster 'Karan Arjun' (1995), directed by Rakesh Roshan, Mamta Kulkarni starred alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. She had a 'knack' of landing into controversies, which started with her posing topless for the cover of Indian magazine Stardust in 1993. She quit Bollywood after her appearance in the film Kabhie Tum Kabhie Hum. Indian TV show Bigg Boss approached Mamta to be a contestant in its Season 7 but Mamta refused.

Under the directions of the Minister for Information and Broadcasting, the Indian Censor Board prepares a list of cuts for Bollywood film producer, Vikramjeet's new movie "Aane Wala Kal". Vikramjeet is unhappy and decides to meet the Minister himself to appeal against these cuts, only to find out that the Minister favors even more cuts. Then Vikramjeet shows this movie in a private theatre to an audience from all walks of life, he then takes their written opinion, smuggles a copy to America, just in time to ensure that it is nominated for an Oscar. This is where Vikramjeet's troubles start as the Censor Board refuses to grant a "U" certificate; he is arrested for smuggling the movie without permission from the Reserve Bank of India. The only way he can escape the wrath of the authorities is getting some fans and stars of his movie to gather some dirt on the Censor Board members and expose them publicly. But will this pacify the authorities, or will it aggravate the situation. Watch what the wily 80-year-old veteran does to try and show his movie uncut and with the "U" rating.

"Chhuppa Rustam" is an action and suspense film with Sanjay Kapoor in a double role. One Sanjay (Nirmal) is an industrialist and the other (Raja) is a small time thief. The thief is in love with Manisha Koirala (Nisha) while the other Sanjay is in love with Mamta Kulkarni (Sandhia). Industrialist Sanjay's father is dead and he runs a huge tea plantation. Raj Babbar, the Commissioner of Police, notices the two Sanjay's and plans to place the thief at the industrialist's house and sell the property and take the money. The industrialist Sanjay finds out that his father was murdered. He sets out to look for the killer. The killer sets a trap for him. In the meantime, the thief takes his place. One Sanjay is killed and the other claims to be the industrialist. Which Sanjay survives is the mystery which is revealed in the end.

The story begins with Col. Krishnakant and his ten men who were sacked from the Indian army as they failed in the China Gate mission. After witnessing the brutal slaying of her Forest Officer father, Sunder Rajan, at the hands of dreaded dacoit Jageera, Sandhya goes to Col. and asks for his assistance in bringing an end to Jageera's rule in the Devdurg region. Krishnakant agrees to assist her and summons ten of his fellow officers and subordinates to assist him in this mission. They assemble at Devdurg with the necessary ammunitions and arms to combat Jageera, not realizing that Jageera has influence over the local police detachment, who will prevent Krishnakant and his men to possess any guns and weapons. This does not deter the men, and they continue to stay on in Devdurg and gain the confidence of the villagers. What the villagers do not know that Krishnakant and his men had all been dishonorably discharged from the army for cowardice and retreating when attacked by the enemy.

A cruel and evil landowner Jaganath Singh (Dilip Kumar) is murdered and his twin brother Amarnath Singh (also Dilip Kumar) decides to investigate. He finds the list of suspects is endless. The prime suspects are Jaganath's son Amar (Mukul Dev), Jaganath's abused wife Suman (Smita Jaykar) and a woman named Yamini (Rekha) who claims she was raped by Jaganath. Eventually Jaganath's son Amar confesses to killing his father. He reveals that on the night of his father's death he accidentally shot him while trying to fight him off when Jagannath held Amar and his mother at gunpoint. Soon after the list of suspects grow after it is discovered that Jaganath's had many more enemies who could have killed him including landowner Mangal Singh (Gulshan Grover) and even Jaganath's own brother Amarnath who doesn't seem to have got on well with Jaganath himself in the past.

Kashi (Sunny Deol) is a kind-hearted wrestler and the dutiful son of Shambhu Nath (Amrish Puri) living in Banaras. The story opens with a group of people travelling in a bus. The bus is stopped on its way and a bunch of hooligans board the bus and create a nuisance when a man tricks them into getting off the bus. Later the bus stops for a tea break and the hooligans arrive at the same time when suddenly a passing convoy is attacked and the assassins try to kill the man inside one of the cars. The man using his swiftness foils the attack and manages to nab and arrest one of the attackers while killing another. The rest manage to escape the scene.
