Raja Manoj Bharathiraja is a very lazy and irresponsible and young lad, whereas Ramesh kunal is a highly talented and educated lad who earns very much. Obviously, the grandfather of both M. N. Nambiar who a retired collector of the area, hates raja and loves and takes care of ramesh. He every day goes to temple and prays for his grandson ramesh only. Also he talks nasty about raja and always pride of his grandson ramesh.
