Manya is an Indian actress who acted in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Tamil movies. She began her acting career in Telugu cinema. In 2000, she was introduced to Malayalam films by director Lohithadas and acted in Joker opposite Dileep. The success of the movie led to a series of more Malayalam movies films outside her mother language, Telugu.

Biography

Manya born to Prahladan who was a doctor at England and Padmini in Naidu family of Andhra Pradesh, grew up in England and moved to South India at the age of 9. She has a younger sister, Meera. Manya is married to Satya Patel on 31 May 2008.

Karthik(Vijay Antony) is a brilliant student. The school head master catches him once for forging the signature of his friend's parent in the mark sheet. The head master sends for his father. He goes back to his house and knocks the door, but there is no response. So he peeps through the window and is shocked to find his mom with his uncle. His mother opens the door and pleads him not to tell his father, but he does and so his father commits suicide. Karthik's mother continues her relationship which leads Karthik to kill his mother and his uncle by setting the house in fire. He is sent to juvenile home where he grows up. On release, the jail warden gives him the address of his uncle (father's younger brother) and asks him to concentrate on his studies. He goes to this address and realises that his uncle's wife is not interested in giving shelter to Karthik. So he leaves to Chennai by bus to start a new life.

The movie begins with Jeeva (Prabhu), running away from his village to Chennai fearing a possible marriage with the daughter of a local chieftain (Radharavi), arranged by his father. Sathya has come up in life the hard way as he lost his mother when he was a small boy and his father was framed and arrested on criminal charges. Sathya, unaware of his father's innocence, takes custody of his five young sisters. Sathya's father Bhadra was cheated by his brother-in-law who poisons his sister's mind to leave her husband, but she commits suicide later and her son Sathya is left with his five sisters. Sathya take care of his sisters well and educates them, but they are under his strict control and any person who plays foul with them faces his wrath, but he finds himself in trouble because of this tough character. Meanwhile, Sathya's father is released from prison and now wants to take revenge on his brother-in-law but the latter joins hands with some villains who want to settle scores with Bhadra and his son. They hatch a plan to a create rift in Sathya's family and surprising everyone succeeds as well. Will Sathya reunite his family again, and prove his father's innocence form the climax.
