Mark Blankfield (born May 8, 1950) is an American comedic actor from Pasadena, Texas, who is perhaps best known as a regular cast member of the television variety series Fridays. Other work includes roles in Jekyll and Hyde...Together Again, The Incredible Shrinking Woman, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, Dracula: Dead and Loving It, and The Jerk, Too, a TV-movie sequel to The Jerk. He has also made appearances in television series such as Night Court, The Nutt House, The Jamie Foxx Show, Arrested Development, and Saved by the Bell.

Robin Hood, or Robin of Loxley (Cary Elwes), is captured during the Crusades and is imprisoned at Khalil Prison in Jerusalem. With the help of fellow inmate Asneeze (Isaac Hayes), who is in for jaywalking, he escapes and frees the other inmates. Robin is asked by Asneeze to find his son, Ahchoo (Dave Chappelle, in his first major professional role). Upon returning to England, he finds Ahchoo and discovers that Prince John (Richard Lewis) has assumed control while King Richard is away fighting in the Crusades. Unbeknownst to Richard, the prince is abusing his power. Robin returns to his family home, Loxley Hall, only to find it has been repossessed by John's men. His family's blind servant, Blinkin (Mark Blankfield), informs Robin that his family members and pets have been killed as well. He vows to get his home back before all his family's things are taken.

L'histoire se déroule quatre ans après le film. Allen Bauer et sa femme Madison (une sirène) vivent sur île déserte méconnue. Allen s'ennuie : Freddie, son frère et la vie new-yorkaise lui manquent. Madison a un pouvoir hydrokinétique qui lui permet de voir et de communiquer à distance en traçant un cercle à la surface de l'eau. Consciente de la tristesse d'Allen, elle lui montre ce qui se passe à New-York. Allen réalise alors que l'entreprise familiale qu'il a laissée à son frère est en fâcheuse posture. Il décide alors de retourner à la civilisation (ce qui contredit la fin du film de 1984, où l'on apprenait que si Allen choisissait la mer, il ne pourrait jamais revenir).

Brilliant surgeon Daniel Jekyll (Mark Blankfield) dedicates himself to medical research, hoping to unlock man's animal nature and increase his capacity for self-healing. Jekyll accidentally creates a white powder which, when inhaled through the nose, temporarily turns him into a completely uninhibited sex maniac who calls himself Mister Hyde. Pat Kramer of Tasty Meadows is an ordinary suburban housewife and mother of two children. Her husband Vance is an advertising executive. After exposure to an experimental perfume from her husband's company mixed with a multitude of household products and food additives she begins to shrink, gradually at first, then rapidly. A few weeks pass and Pat has shrunk to the height of her own children. Eventually she becomes a celebrity of sorts appearing on The Mike Douglas Show and captures the hearts of the American people. Soon she is less than a foot tall making her like a doll to her children and forcing her to move into a dollhouse.
