Mark Edward Womack (born 9 January 1961) is an English actor, best known for starring in Liverpool 1, Sorted and Willy Russell's Dancin thru' The Dark.
Womack was born in Liverpool in 1961, eldest son of Frances (née Dean) and Tom Womack. He has a younger brother Paul (born 1963) and a younger sister Louise (born 1966).

He attended high school in Childwall, Liverpool, and later attended RADA, London.

He began a relationship with actress Samantha Janus in the late 1990s; they married on 16 May 2009 at Claridge's hotel in central London. He has a son Michael Womack (born 1995) by his ex-wife Therese and two children by Samantha, both born in Westminster, London: son Benjamin Thomas Womack (born February 2001) and daughter Lily-Rose Womack (born April 2005).

Detective Inspector Sarah Clayton (Joanne Froggatt) tries to establish why British schoolboy Mark (Jamie Blackley) would want to stab John (Toby Regbo). The two were supposed to be friends, yet Mark claims that the crime was necessary. As she looks deeper into the crime and the two teenagers, she discovers that Mark frequented chatrooms and became fascinated with Rachel (Jaime Winstone), a woman he met in one such room. With her prompting he agrees to make friends with her brother John. The film opens on a ferry in Liverpool, as Fergus Molloy (Mark Womack) remembers the final messages sent to him by his lifelong friend Frankie (John Bishop), whose funeral he is to attend. The night before, Molloy unseals his friend's coffin to see his friend's badly injured corpse. At the funeral, Haynes (Jack Fortune) a director of the private military company that Molloy and Frankie worked for, gives a eulogy praising Frankie and describing military contractors as the "unsung heroes of our time". Afterwards, Haynes and Walker (Geoff Bell) explain to Frankie's family the circumstances of his death, though Molloy remains embittered and closely questions the two men. Later at the wake, Molloy attacks Haynes when he sees him distributing his business card to enlisted soldiers there.
