Martin Petit (born September 24, 1968 in Laval, Quebec, Canada) is a Canadian comedian and actor. He is a member of The Bizarroides. He won a Genie Award for Best Screenplay, for Starbuck. He co-wrote the American Remake of Starbuck with director Ken Scott.
Comme acteur, il fait des apparitions marquantes dans Bouledogue Bazar, La Petite Vie et dans Un gars, une fille. En plus, il obtient le rôle de Sylvain dans la populaire franchise cinématographique Les Boys. De plus, il a créé un groupe de musique, Les Nouveaux prophètes.
Il est le premier humoriste québécois à remporter l'Olivier de spectacle d'humour de l'année pour chacun de ses one-man shows.
Il est à la barre de l'émission du midi Le monde est petit, diffusée sur les ondes d'NRJ 94.3 à Montréal.
En 2007, il anime la 9e édition du gala des Olivier et le reprend en 2008 lors de sa 10e édition.

Biography
En 1991, Martin Petit remporte les auditions nationales Juste pour rire. Pendant huit ans, jusqu'en 1999, il fera partie du groupe Les Bizzaroïdes avec Ken Scott, aujourd'hui scénariste et réalisateur, Guy Lévesque, réalisateur, metteur en scène ainsi qu'agent d'artistes, et Stéphane E. Roy, auteur-comédien.Comme acteur, il fait des apparitions marquantes dans Bouledogue Bazar, La Petite Vie et dans Un gars, une fille. En plus, il obtient le rôle de Sylvain dans la populaire franchise cinématographique Les Boys. De plus, il a créé un groupe de musique, Les Nouveaux prophètes.
