Mary Anderson (June 28, 1897 – June 22, 1986) was an American actress, who appeared in 77 silent films between 1914 and 1923.

Biography

Née à Brooklyn le 28 juin 1897, Mary Anderson a étudié à l'Erasmus Hall High School de New York. Elle commence sa carrière dans le cinéma à l'âge de 17 ans, et tourne pour les studios Vitagraph. Par la suite en 1920 elle produit elle-même le film Bubbles qui est bien reçu par le public. Plus tard elle travaille pour Famous Players-Lasky et Canyon Pictures.

As described in a summary in a film publication, the serial involves the mystery of the murder of William Stillman (Wells) and the finding of the heir to his fortune. Silent Joe (Farnum) arrives in an effort to discover the murderer and prove that he is the true heir.
