Maurizio Ferrini (born April 12, 1953) is an Italian actor and television personality.

Ferrini was born in Cesena in 1953. He made his artistic debut inQuelli della Notte, starring alongside Renzo Arbore and establishing himself as an eccentric comedian. During the show's airing, he was known for the his trademark Non capisco, ma mi adeguo (in English, I can't understand, but I adapt myself).

Afterwards, Ferrini went to partecipate in Domenica in, during the 1989-1990 edition, where he created, and played en travesti, the character of Mrs Emma Coriandoli, a humoristic take on Italian housewives. During the early 2000s he appeared in TV shows only occasionally, as a guest, until in 2005 Simona Ventura offered him to partecipate in the reality show L'Isola dei Famosi, where he acheived second place with 25% of the audience's preferences. In 2007, he played a minor role in the drama Ma chi l'avrebbe mai detto acting alongside Ornella Muti and Katia Ricciarelli.

Maurizio Ferrini a fait ses débuts dans l'émission Quelli della notte, de Renzo Arbore où il a montré son humour, comme dans la réplique : « Non capisco, ma mi adeguo » (Je ne comprends pas mais je m'adapte).


Madame Emma Coriandoli
Au début des années 1990, dans l'émission Domenica In, il joue un rôle en travesti de Madame Emma Coriandoli, parodie de la femme au foyer italienne.

Du 1991 au 1993, il joue dans le téléjournal humoristique Striscia la Notizia.

En 1992, il joue son dernier rôle dans le film Sognando la California, sous la direction de Carlo Vanzina, et après il abandonne progressivement la scène, jusqu'en 2005, où il retourne participer avec le reality-show à L'isola dei famosi, dans lequel il confesse publiquement qu'il voudrait retourner travailler à la TV et au cinéma, après ses années de silence.
