Michael Joseph Anderson, Jr. (born 6 August 1943) is an English actor.
He was born in Hillingdon, Middlesex, into a theatrical family. His grandparents and great-great-aunt were actors. His father is the film director Michael Anderson, Sr. He is the stepson of actress Adrienne Ellis, and stepbrother of actress Laurie Holden. His brother is producer David Anderson.
Anderson trained at the Arts Educational School in drama and ballet. He appeared in seventy-two films between 1956 and 1998, the most notable of which include The Sundowners (1960), In Search of the Castaways (1962), The Sons of Katie Elder (1965), Major Dundee (1965), The Glory Guys (1965) and Logan's Run (1976, which his father directed and was filmed in Dallas, Texas).
In the 1966–67 season, Anderson co-starred with Barbara Hershey, who portrayed his sister, in an ABC family western series, The Monroes.
He guest starred as well in episodes of ABC's Stoney Burke and Love, American Style along with Hawaii Five-O on CBS.

Cliff Haber (Tony Rosato) runs an orphanage, and decides to go on a vacation. He has his father, Harry Haber (Leslie Nielsen), run the orphanage while he is away. Harry has a rental store and decides that it would be a good idea to rent out youngsters to prospective adoptive parents after he hears his son's testimony on how hard it is for him to find parents for the youngsters he takes care of. In the year 2274, the remnants of human civilization live in a sealed domed city, a utopia run by a computer that takes care of all aspects of their life, including reproduction. Kansas (Hopper) is a stunt coordinator in charge of horses on a western being shot in a small Peruvian village. Following a tragic incident on the set where an actor is killed in a stunt, Kansas decides to quit the movie business and stay in Peru with a local woman. Kansas thinks he has found paradise, but is soon called in to help in a bizarre incident: the Peruvian natives are "filming" their own movie with "cameras" made of sticks, and acting out real western movie violence, as they don't understand movie fakery. The film touches on the ideas of fiction versus reality, especially in regards to cinema. The movie is presented in a way that challenges the viewer's traditional cinematic understanding of storytelling, by presenting the story in a non-chronological fashion, and by including several devices typically only seen behind the scenes of filmmaking (rough edits and "scene missing" cards), and the use of jarring jump cuts.

During the American Civil War, Union cavalry officer Major Amos Dundee (Charlton Heston) is relieved of his command for an unspecified tactical error (though it is implied that he showed too much initiative) at the Battle of Gettysburg and sent to head a prisoner-of-war camp in the New Mexico Territory. A group of boys, evacuated during World War II from London to a coastal town, form a gang and play war games. Too young to fight in the war and afraid it will be over by the time they come of age, the group members, who are also in the school's Army Cadet Force initiate a battle with the local teenagers. Curlew, a local youth, invites an Austrian Jewish refugee with whom he has formed a close relationship to take part in the shenanigans. At first the Jewish boy, Stein, is scorned because of his "Germanic" heritage but is later allowed to join. When Stein runs off during a fight, the youths decide to give him a fake court-martial and execution, but real bullets are used by a freak mistake and Stein is killed.
