Michael Currie (born Herman Christian Schwenk, Jr.; July 24, 1928 – December 22, 2009) was an American actor who appeared in several films and on television. He had a role in several Clint Eastwood movies; he played Lt. Donnelly in the fourth installment of the "Dirty Harry" film series Sudden Impact, and reprised his role as Capt. Donnelly in the 1988 sequel The Dead Pool.
Currie also had a role in the 1982 horror movie Halloween III: Season of the Witch, as Rafferty. Later that year, he also starred in the Clint Eastwood movie Firefox and co-starred with Eastwood in the 1980 comedy film Any Which Way You Can. His most recent film was G.I. Jane in 1997.
Currie starred in the 1960s cult TV show Dark Shadows as Sheriff Jonas Carter. He has made guest appearances on many TV shows. Shows he has appeared on include Lou Grant, MASH, Barney Miller, Cheers, Homicide: Life on the Street and Law & Order. Currie died on December 22, 2009.

Fame finally catches up with Harry Callahan. His testimony against crime kingpin Lou Janero puts the mobster in prison and Callahan on the cover of San Francisco Magazine as the city's ace crime fighter. Callahan is attacked by Janero's men at a turnoff near the San Francisco – Oakland Bay Bridge while driving. He knocks down one with his car and shoots the remaining men dead. In 1943 United States Navy sailors David Herdeg and Jim Parker are assigned to the destroyer escort USS Eldridge during a project to make it invisible to radar. Artist Jennifer Spencer and her sister are raped by a group of boys, after being betrayed by female friend Ray Parkins. The brutal rape leaves Jennifer's sister permanently catatonic. A joint Anglo-American plot is devised to steal a highly advanced Soviet fighter aircraft (MiG-31, NATO code name "Firefox") which is capable of Mach 6, is invisible to radar, and carries weapons controlled by thought. Former United States Air Force Major Mitchell Gant (Eastwood), a Vietnam veteran and former POW, infiltrates the Soviet Union, aided by his ability to speak Russian (due to his having had a Russian mother) and a network of Jewish dissidents and sympathizers, three of whom are key scientists working on the fighter itself.
