Miles Heizer (born May 16, 1994) is an American actor. His most notable film appearance was in Rails & Ties, playing Davey Danner when he was 12 years old. He also played the recurring role of Joshua Lipnicki on 4 episodes of the NBC medical drama series ER. From 2010 until 2015, he starred in the NBC drama series Parenthood as Drew Holt, Sarah Braverman's son.

Nerve est un jeu en ligne sur mobile qui propose deux options : être « voyeur » : payer pour regarder les joueurs accomplir leurs défis et leur en proposer d’autres ou « joueur » : gagner de l’argent en accomplissant des missions. Son premier défi, un baiser de 5 secondes, va lui faire rencontrer Ian, un autre joueur et gagner 100$. À la suite de multiples demandes de voyeurs, les deux jeunes vont devoir faire équipe pour réaliser leurs défis suivants. Mais plus le jeu avance, plus les défis sont dangereux et louches. The film opens as Josh Manning (Miles Heizer) is recording his own songs in his college dormitory dorm room for demo and is interrupted by one of his floor mates looking for someone. He stops recording, annoyed at the interruption. Meanwhile, his father Sam Manning (Billy Crudup) has succeeded in landing a large account at his advertising firm, and calls Josh to celebrate with him at the end of that day’s classes. Josh tells him he can’t make it but his father insists, though Josh begins to make his way to the campus library anyway. Sam continues to wait at the bar where he told him to meet him and even leaves a message for Josh who has apparently stood him up. He is distracted by a news report of a school shooting incident at his son’s campus library on the television in the bar.

Stanford University psychology professor Philip Zimbardo conducts a psychological experiment to test the hypothesis that the personality traits of prisoners and guards are the chief cause of abusive behavior between them. In the experiment, Zimbardo selects fifteen male students to participate in a 14-day prison simulation to take roles as prisoners or guards. They receive $15 per day. The experiment is conducted in a mock prison located in the basement of Jordan Hall, the university's psychology department building. The students who are guards become abusive, as does Zimbardo himself. Two students who play the role of prisoners quit the experiment early, and Zimbardo abruptly stops the entire experiment after only six days.

Laura Danner is a mentally ill, single mother who takes illegal drugs and is unable to care for her 10-year-old son Davey. Driven to despair, she decides to commit suicide by driving a car on to a railway track, taking Davey with her. She offers him some tranquillisers beforehand but, unbeknownst to her, he spits them out. His mother drives on to the tracks. As a train approaches, Davey tries in vain to drag her out of the car, himself jumping clear just in time. Two train crewmen, Tom Stark and Otis Higgs, seeing the car on the tracks ahead, argue about whether an emergency stop will derail the train or not. However, he train hits and kills the boy's mother. Subsequently, the railroad company calls for an internal inquiry and suspends the two drivers.
