Un homme dispose d'une mystérieuse capacité lui permettant de contrôler tous les gens qui rentrent dans son champ de vision. Toutefois, l'utilisation de ce pouvoir n'est pas sans contrepartie, car à chaque fois qu'il en use, le mal qui ronge sa jambe s'étend, l'affaiblissant de plus en plus. Un jour, il va également prendre conscience d'une nouvelle limite à son pouvoir : Tanaka Shuichi, un livreur d'apparence banale, se révèle être insensible à sa manipulation. Il va alors tout faire pour l'éliminer mais Shuichi n'est pas aussi normal qu'il en a l'air. Ses capacités de récupération dépassent l'entendement lui permettant de récupérer de blessures mortelles en un rien de temps.
