Nagabushanam (c.1922 – May 5, 1995) was a comedian and character actor of the Telugu cinema. His first film was Palletooru (1951), directed by Tatineni Prakash Rao. He acted in approximately 395 films from the 1950s to the 1980s.

One of his most popular stages roles was as Raktakanneru Nagabhushanam in Raktha Kanneeru, which he also produced. He acted along with Vemavarapu Gowtham Kumar. Nagabushanam gave more than 2,000 performances of the drama.

He played the lead in Edi Nijam (1956), a film directed by Sundaram Balachander and produced by Ghantasala Krishnamurthy of Pratibha Films.

Nagabushanam produced a handful of films, including Natakala Rayudu and Oke Kutumbam.

Nagabushanam died on May 5, 1995.

Nagabhushanam and his son Nagaraju (Satyanarayana) runs smuggling and Illegal transport of forest produce in the Forest. Ramu (NTR) opposes and raises the villagers to fight against him. Padma (Jayaprada) Daughter of Forest officer (Jaggayya) loves him. One tribal lady Chilakamma (Jayasudha) also loves him as a brother. Nagabhushanam takes the help of Jaggu (Sridhar) to sent Ramu away from the forest. Later half reveals that Ramu was in fact a Forest officer in secret mission to investigate the case of Forest affairs. The story finally leads to the arrest of criminals.

Radha (Manjula) is a medical student daughter of wealthy man, Raghupati Rao (Nagabhushanam). While on a trip to Simla, she meets and falls in love with Gopi (Shobhan Babu); they get intimate with each other. Gopi asks Raghupati Rao for his daughter's hand but he refuses, on the ground that the hard-up Gopi is not worthy of her. Gopi leaves Radha a note, explaining that her father refused the alliance and that he is heading to meet his mother, who is very sick. Raghupati Rao gets hold of the letter before Radha. He changes the letter with a fake one that says Gopi is going away because Raghupati Rao has refused to provide any monetary compensation.

Raghava Rao (N. T. Rama Rao) is a teacher in a government primary school. His wife is Janaki (Anjali Devi). Papa Rao (Nagabhushanam) is the school proprietor.
