Lenehan was born in Long Island, New York. She co-starred on the short-lived sitcom Worst Week. She also co-starred as Sandy Kelly, the matriarch in the sitcom Married to the Kellys, and had a recurring role on My Name Is Earl as Earl and Randy's mother, Kay Hickey.

Biography
Nancy Lenehan a fait ses études au Yankton College et a eu son diplôme en 1975. Elle a fait ses débuts en tant qu'actrice en 1979 et a joué dans plus de 130 films et séries télévisées.
