Likké was born in 1970 in Oakland, California and raised in San Francisco and Oakland. Her father was Ethiopian revolutionary Senay Likké who met her mother at the University of California, Berkeley in the 1960s. Likké attended Skyline High School in Oakland, and Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, Georgia. Her début film was 2006 comedy Phat Girlz which starred Mo'Nique.Usually with
