Norman John Warren (born 25 June 1942 in London, England) is an English film director best known for such 1970s horror films as Satan's Slave (1976), Prey (1977) and Terror (1978). Warren is also known for sex comedies such as Spaced Out (also known as Outer Spaced and Outer Touch, 1979).
Along with Peter Walker, Warren's films are sometimes dubbed "New Wave" British horror, on the basis that they upped the ante in terms of explicitness, were set in modern-day 1970s Britain and centred around young protagonists of ages between 20 and 30, distinguishing them from the period piece horrors of Hammer Films that had appeared before.

Max Cash is a down-on-his luck fisherman and charter boat captain living in the Bahamas when his life takes a turn when he meets Sarah Livingstone, a tourist who is seeking to find the treasure of accursed shipwreck, 'The El Diablo' which has been rumored to have sunk on an offshore reef near one of the many islands. Max and Sarah then team up to locate the wreck while dodging a local crime boss as well as a mysterious businessman who claims that the wreck is guarded by supernatural forces in form of a sea monster that no one claims to have ever seen and survived.

Un paisible jour d'été des années 1980, six adolescents décident de faire une virée dans une fête foraine en bord de mer. Tout se passe bien jusqu'à ce que l'une des filles soit prise pour cible par deux voyous sur un manège avec la complicité du propriétaire forain. Ces derniers font tourner le manège de plus en plus vite et refusent de le stopper malgré les cris de la victime. Les jeunes gens finissent par venir à son secours, mais les agresseurs veulent en découdre. Après une bagarre, les ados s'enfuient vers la côte puis en bateau. Arrivé à proximité d'une petite île, le bateau prend l'eau et ils sont obligés de gagner l’île qu'ils commencent à explorer. Ils découvrent un hôtel, y pénètrent et remarquent tout est prêt pour le réveillon de Noël ainsi que pour le nouvel an de 1960. Continuant leur exploration, ils découvrent tout un environnement datant de la fin des années 1950 comme si le temps s'était arrêté à cette date dans cette île. Bientôt des événements bizarres vont se succéder, des objets vont se déplacer, des gens vont apparaître dans des miroirs alors qu'ils ne sont nulle part... Puis l’atmosphère va devenir de plus en plus violente avec le premier meurtre de l'un des jeunes gens, une des jeunes filles sera transformée en zombie... Les survivants tentent de s'organiser mais ne peuvent quitter l'île et sont sans cesse attaqués. on apprendra vers la fin qu'un avion ayant à son bord un appareil pouvant créer des distorsions temporelles s'est écrasé dans l'île pendant le réveillon de Noël en 1959.

On a desolate planet, a team of 12 Xeno project scientists are conducting an archaeological excavation of the ruins of an ancient civilisation. Shortly after an underground tomb network is found to contain crystals and wall inscriptions, photographer Dean White (Dominic Jephcott) is engulfed in a rock blast and left incapacitated. Deciphering the alien language in the caves, xenolinguist Mitch (Trevor Thomas) theorises that the civilisation was built on the concept of dualism: the planet orbits a binary star, and a pair of twins seems to have ruled the race that once inhabited it. The murder of a prostitute in German-occupied Warsaw in 1942 causes Abwehr Major Grau (Omar Sharif) to start an investigation, as she was also a German agent.
