Olinto Cristina (5 February 1888 – 17 June 1962) was an Italian film actor. He appeared in 75 films between 1932 and 1957. He also was a renowned dubber in Italian post-synchronized versions of foreign films, providing his voice for actors such as C. Aubrey Smith, Sig Ruman, Frank Morgan or Lionel Barrymore. As far as animated films are concerned, he dubbed Doc in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (redubbed in 1972), Bambi 's friend Owl (redubbed in 1968) and others.

Des décombres d'une terrible catastrophe ferroviaire émergent seulement deux survivantes : une petite polonaise qui a perdu ses parents dans l'accident, et la prostituée qui l'a sauvée, Mara Gualtieri. Désormais seule au monde, la fillette va s'attacher à Mara, qui pour sa part voudrait bien l'adopter, d'autant qu'elle lui rappelle sa propre fille morte en bas-âge. Hélas ! Son activité le lui interdit. Les autorités placent donc la fillette dans un orphelinat. Résolue à la reprendre, Mara décide de s'amender et de tourner le dos à cette vie de débauche. Elle quitte ses « quartiers » et parvient à trouver un humble mais honnête travail dans une manufacture de briques.

Antonio Trabbi is a greedy old man with a very rough personality and obsessed by money. He deprecates charity and love and has no friends or love interest, being lonely and avoided by people. On Christmas Eve he is visited by the ghost of his former business partner, who warns him about his life-style and announces the visit of three spirits, who will show Antonio past, present and future Christmas days. During the night, the three spirits actually appear to Trabbi, showing him his sad past, the bad reputation he has with everyone and the bad outcome of his actions, which will lead him to a lonely death and to terrible punishments in Hell. When Trabbi wakes up he is greatly distressed by the visions and eager to change his life, starting with that very same Christmas Day.

A long time ago, the people of Baghdad lived happily under the rule of Caliph Oman III, greatest and kindest of any Caliph.
