Pierre Martot, né le 6 avril 1957 à Yvetot, est un psychologue clinicien et acteur français.
Il est notamment connu pour son rôle de Léo Castelli qu'il interprète depuis 2004 dans la série Plus belle la vie.
En septembre 2011, il quitte le feuilleton alors que celui-ci réalise de très bonnes audiences, et se consacre essentiellement à la lecture publique de grandes œuvres de la littérature universelle.
En 2015, il revient au cinéma sous la direction de Jean-Pierre Mocky. Il a également été filmé par Gérard Courant pour son anthologie Cinématon. Il est le numéro 2880 de la collection.
Début 2016 marque son retour dans Plus belle la vie. Il continue son activité de lecture publique de grands textes.

Biography
Originaire d'Yvetot, en Seine-Maritime, Pierre Martot fait des études de psychologie à Paris-Sorbonne. Il exerce d'abord la profession de psychologue clinicien, puis de journaliste. Il devient acteur en 1986. Il tourne alors au cinéma sous la direction de Claude Chabrol, Jean-Pierre Mocky, Enki Bilal, Philippe Garrel... Il interprète aussi de grands rôles au théâtre : Œdipe, Créon. On le voit dans des pièces de Bertolt Brecht, Henrik Ibsen, Peter Handke... Mais c'est la télévision qui le révèle au grand public avec ses apparitions dans de nombreuses séries télévisées puis, en particulier, son rôle de capitaine de police Léo Castelli dans la série télévisée Plus belle la vie dès 2004.En septembre 2011, il quitte le feuilleton alors que celui-ci réalise de très bonnes audiences, et se consacre essentiellement à la lecture publique de grandes œuvres de la littérature universelle.

In a small town in Brittany, a 10-year-old girl is found murdered. The last person to see her alive was her art teacher and professional artist René (Gamblin). He soon becomes the primary suspect in the murder investigation spearheded by the new chief of police Frédérique Lesage (Bruni-Tedeschi), which destroys his life as people in the small town believe that he is the killer although there is no hard evidence. René is completely dedicated to his wife (Bonnaire), a nurse whose perpetual happy mood is the polar opposite of his personality. In this fast-paced French comedy, a gambler, anxious to escape the thugs who pursue him after her reneged on a bet, mistakenly agrees to enter the safety of the Amazon jungle with an ethnologist's son to search for the missing soul of an ailing Indian. Perrin's ordeal begins in an elevator where he encounters Campana, the French scientist who was raised in the distant jungle, and his companion Wanu, an Amazon shaman who has left his remote home to help Campana campaign on the rain forest's behalf. When Wanu, wearing little more than feathers, skins and a plate in his lip, suddenly tweak's the nose of Perrin and proclaims him the "chosen one", Perrin is naturally surprised. He is more surprised when Wanu shows up in his lavish apartment that night, drugs him and covers him with ritual markings thereby creating a magical link between them. The next day Wanu suffers a heart attack that he interprets as the theft of his soul. He beckons Perrin beside him and insists that he go to the jungle and find his soul, which has taken the form of a jaguar. Unfortunately for Perrin, the dense jungle proves to be far more dangerous than any gambler's henchmen and comical chaos ensues as he struggles to survive.

Betty (Marie Trintignant), a young alcoholic woman, is caught cold while cheating on her bourgeois husband.
