Pierre Repp est un humoriste et acteur français né le 5 novembre 1909 à Saint-Pol-sur-Ternoise (Pas-de-Calais) et mort le 1er novembre 1986 au Plessis-Trévise (Val-de-Marne). Il est inhumé dans le nouveau cimetière de Vincennes à Fontenay-sous-Bois.
De son vrai nom Pierre, Alphonse, Léon, Frédéric, Bouclet, il se marie avec Ferdinande Alice Andrée Bouclet le 14 août 1930 à Lille. Célèbre pour son talent de bafouilleur, unique en son genre, Pierre Repp s'est produit au théâtre, à la télévision, mais surtout au music-hall et dans les cabarets, à Paris et en tournée. Il n'avait pas son pareil pour buter sur les mots, en proposer d'autres, aligner des contrepèteries hilarantes parce que toujours surprenantes, le tout avec un sens consommé du gag. Son sketch « Les crêpes » est resté dans la mémoire populaire.
Pierre Repp a sa place dans l'histoire du cinéma français grâce à plusieurs troisièmes rôles tenus dans près d'une quarantaine de films. Il faisait aussi partie de la Société des Rosati.

Un tueur en série assassine des femmes en les assommant avec le combiné d'un téléphone et signe ses forfaits en plantant le cadran du téléphone sur le front des victimes. Le détective privé Marc Elbichon (de son vrai nom Marcel Bichon), en quête de notoriété, se lance dans la traque du tueur. Pour l'aider, il fait appel à des amis d'enfance : Franck Potin, propriétaire d'un bar en mal de clients et Blacky, animateur d'une radio stationnée sur un bateau. Il compte également sur Momo, son adjoint et également son « homme de ménage » et Ugo, un reporter-photographe, qui lui aussi est sur la trace du tueur.

The actions once again take place in the small French town of Saint-Tropez. While driving with one of his gendarmes, Cruchot (Louis de Funes) has to stop in order to fix the car. The gendarme wanders away and sees a flying saucer in a field which then flies away. He tries to tell Cruchot and the rest of the station, but they don't believe him. Shortly after, the same occurs with Cruchot and the chief of the gendarmes. This time it is Cruchot who wanders away and sees the saucer, however the chief does not believe him. Later on, when the same gendarme is doing paperwork in the office, a young man appears in front of him and says that he is a part of an alien expedition which has arrived to Saint-Tropez in order to examine humanity as people from all around the globe go to Saint-Tropez during the summer. The alien demonstrates its shapeshifting ability by transforming into the same gendarme it is talking to. The gendarme runs and tells Cruchot, who doesn't believe him. In the midst of the racket, the chief comes and sends the gendarme away. The chief reveals that he is actually an alien disguised as the chief, and when Cruchot doesn't believe him the alien becomes agitated and uses laser vision to cause damage to Cruchot's room. He relents when a watch on his hand flashes red and drinks something out of a flask. The alien begins coughing and upon hitting it on the back, Cruchot discovers it makes a metallic sound. Later on when the real chief arrives, Cruchot stabs him with a screwdriver thinking that it is the alien. The chief orders Cruchot out, since the supervisor will come in tomorrow to check up on the station. During the check up, Cruchot notices the same watch on the supervisor as on the alien he saw last night and attempts to attack him. The gendarmes hold him back while the alien supervisor flees, and the real supervisor arrive. Cruchot once again stabs the real supervisor thinking he is an alien. He is arrested, but escapes the station.

Charles et Lucie, vieux couple sans trop d'argent, lui plus ou moins brocanteur, elle gardienne d'immeuble et femme de ménage, voient débarquer un notaire qui leur annonce qu'ils viennent d'hériter d'une luxueuse maison dans le Sud de la France, d'une voiture et de la rente de l'argent placé en Suisse par une parente éloignée et inconnue récemment décédée. Pour toucher l'héritage ils doivent au préalable payer les frais avancés du notaire. Pour ce faire ils sont amenés à vendre tous leurs biens, avant de partir vers le Sud et de s'apercevoir, devant une maison qui n'existe pas, qu'il viennent d'être escroqués. Mais cette mésaventure va être le début d'une nouvelle vie.

Paul est percepteur, Jacqueline est toiletteuse de chiens au « Chenil du chien chic ». Ils ont tous deux la quarantaine et vivent en solitaires, lui après un mariage rompu, elle, à la suite d'une déception amoureuse. Ils se rencontrent grâce aux petites annonces matrimoniales du « Chasseur français » ; mais à leur âge, chacun a ses habitudes et son caractère et tous leurs rendez-vous sont marqués par des incidents qui semblent rendre difficile leur vie commune : pour leur première soirée, par erreur, Paul conduit Jacqueline dans une salle où passe un film porno ; les chiens de Jacqueline dévastent la villa de Paul ; le fils de ce dernier survient avec sa petite amie… Plus tard, une ancienne maîtresse de Paul l'enferme dans son bureau au moment où il devait rejoindre Jacqueline. Rupture, retrouvailles, scènes de ménage. Après toutes ces péripéties, ils comprennent qu'ils ne peuvent plus vivre l'un sans l'autre.

Pierre Gastié-Leroy (Pierre Richard) is the son of a wealthy director of a factory of weapon manufacturing (Bernard Blier). Despite his parents, two generous uncles and a bishop godfather who try to inculcate him the rigid values of his social level, Pierre is a dreamer, antimilitaristic, social educator who dreams of saving three thugs, his "little guys" at the limit of delinquency. After several resounding failures that sent him to prison, Pierre is ordered by his father to join his factory to direct the social service. Tired of the venality of his father and the foolishness of the "little guys", Pierre hires them at the factory. They will have fun making mischief and being overzealous to convince the supervisors on increasing the working rhythms, denouncing the trade union leaders, battling a strike and finally, stealing 500 tanks to sell them back to the black market. A demonstration of new remote-controlled missiles attended by the Minister for Defence turns into fiasco. Injured in his pride, the father Gastié-Leroy wants to show the reliability of his product by pointing the fire at his own factory.

The King (Jean Marais) promises his dying Queen that after her death he will only marry a woman as beautiful and virtuous as she.
