Pjetër Malota (born Pjetër Malota Lulgjuraj in Lofka in Malësia, Albania on 28 August 1958) is best known for his appearances in 3 films starring Jean-Claude Van Damme. He studied tae kwon do under Jun Chong, Simon Rhee, and Phillip Rhee. In 1984, Malota made his film debut in a small role in Furious and then played a member of a syndicate gang in the action movie Ninja Turf. In 1991, Malota began to work with Van Damme. The first on the 3 films was 1991's Double Impact, where he played an assassin with kicking skills with knives in his shoes. The second movie was Nowhere to Run, in which he is seen playing the convict Van Damme tries to free, but is killed. His last movie was 1996's The Quest. In this film, Malota puts his kicking skills to use again as he played the Spanish fighter that Van Damme fights in the tournaments.

However, Malota returned 5 years later to work with Van Damme again on The Order.

Sam Reide (Chris Carmack) witnesses a woman being killed, then wakes up in an ice-filled bathtub, his vitals being monitored by his sister Jenna (Rachel Miner). Sam can travel back to any time and location during his lifetime (occupying the body of that time in his life), needing only to concentrate on where and when he wishes to arrive. He has helped the local police capture criminals under the guise of being a psychic. We learn that Sam pays his sister Jenna's rent and buys her groceries, and that she rarely leaves the apartment and lives in squalor.

The film opens in 1099 at the end of the First Crusade, depicting Christian Crusaders sacking Jerusalem and slaughtering the local population. One of the Christian knights, Charles Le Vaillant (Jean-Claude Van Damme), becomes demoralized by the horrors of war, and decides to create a new religious order. This new order brings together members from the three main religions of the region: Christians, Jews, and Muslims. As a self-imposed leader and messiah, Charles writes the sacred texts of the Order. He is subsequently accused of heresy by the Christian church, who attack his stronghold, killing Le Vaillant. During the attack, the last chapter from their religious text becomes lost in the desert after he buried it in a secret place.

Tony is the new kid at school. Right off the bat, he befriends gang leader Young and his friends Mark, Frank, and Darrin. However, after bumping into Young's rival Chan, he gets threatened. Young challenges Chan to a fight and defeats him using a wooden sword to Chan's staff. Two mysterious people show up and offer Young and his friends a job for a private security agency. When the boys aren't in school, they pull security at a party. They get into fights with the Spikes Gang, a racist gang and the Blades, a Latino gang. Meanwhile, Tony starts a romance with Lily, who just happens to be Chan's sister and that just makes Chan even more upset and at the same time, Young seems jealous that Tony has found love where Young feels alone due to his mother's constant drinking and promiscuity. He sees Tony as a brother and when he sees him with Lily, it makes his upset.
