Prithviraj Sukumaran (born 16 October 1982), credited mononymously as Prithviraj, is an Indian actor, playback singer and producer best known for his work in Malayalam films. He has also acted in a number of Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films and has been described as one of the few actors in India who is able to achieve pan-Indian appeal.
Prithviraj made his debut in Ranjith's Nandanam (2002) at the age of 19. His major films include Classmates, Puthiya Mukham (2009), Anwar (2010), Indian Rupee (2011), Ayalum Njanum Thammil (2012), Celluloid, Mumbai Police, Memories (2013), 7th Day, Sapthamashree Thaskaraha (2014), Ennu Ninte Moideen (2015) and Amar Akbar Anthony (2015).
Prithviraj has won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actor in 2006 for his performance in Vaasthavam and in 2012 for Ayalum Njanum Thammil and Celluloid. Indian Rupee, co-produced by Prithviraj (under the banner of August Cinema), won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Malayalam in 2011. He is the youngest actor to receive the Kerala State Award for the Best Actor at the age of 24.

Hareendranath Nair (Prithviraj) is an Indian soldier guarding an Indian picket in Kashmir. He happens to meet a Pakistani soldier Mushraff (Javed Jaffrey) on one fine day. They immediately relate to each other and despite of being from different countries they seem to understand each other better than anyone else. Laila and Majnu are two precious stones, which has value only if they are together. It is now possessed by Don, in Goa, who tries to sell it, in order not to lose it to his son, Gabbar, whom he despises. Don approaches two lowly thugs, Pancho and Vinci and offers it for a price of ₹10 crores. They agree and ask for a week's time to arrange the money. Billy, who is Gabbar's man, comes to know of this and offers Pancho and Vinci ₹100 crores to buy it. Pancho and Vinci gets ₹5 crores from Blacky, which actually belongs to the Tarkovs ( the Russian mob in Goa). For the remaining ₹5 crores, they plan to rob the black money of Podiyadis (a local hawala gang in Kerala). Varun Blake is an Indian-born Atlanta police detective that is deeply affected by various incidents in his life like the loss of his biological family in India, the move to a predominantly white school in The States, and the death of his partner. He develops into a temperamental and disturbed man, forcing his Indian wife, Roshni to divorce him and move out of their home with their daughter. Varun then gets into a complicated rebound relationship with a local news reporter, Kate. After gaining American citizenship, Roshni gets a job at a newly outsourced Indian company based in Atlanta called InfoTech. She soon discovers that the company's young but successful director is her childhood friend, Krish Hebbar. The two start seeing each other outside the office, much to Varun's dismay since he still has feelings for his ex-wife. Things take a turn for the worst when several Indian-born young men working for outsourced companies have been found murdered by a professional serial killer. The only link is that all the murder victims knew Krish. Varun brings him in for questioning but does not have enough evidence to arrest him. At around the same time, Krish's true colours are revealed when he blackmails his boss into giving him a promotion, forcing Roshni to leave him on the night he plans to propose. After more investigation, Varun learns that the real murderer is a former soldier who was fired from several jobs who were then taken by Indian immigrants. The soldier comes for Krish, who took over his job several years ago.He is finally saved by Varun. In the end, Krish marries Roshni and they move back to India to work for the Indian branch of their company to be closer to family.

Police constables Balagopal (Sreejith Ravi) and Jolly Kurien (Joju George) have been at odds for years but are under orders to transfer two prisoners from Kannur to Trivandrum. They board the Parasuram express with the handcuffed inmates. While at the Kayamkulam station, prisoner Nandu (Vineeth Sreenivasan) escapes. The two officers get off the train at the next stop with second inmate Maran (Chemban Vinod Jose) and frantically searches for Nandu. The three unlikely musketeers finds the back-story of Nandu. Nandu's father, Narayanan (Nedumudi Venu) always have a wrongful intention to his step-sister, Lakshmi (Nikki Galrani). Nandu, one day determines to kill his father for the same, but the trap he set accidentally killed his mother. He was arrested for his mother's murder. One day his Narayanan comes to visit him at jail and reveals his true intentions for his step-sister. Nandu determines to escape at any possible opportunities. The three musketeers finds Nandu while roughing with Narayanan, both with the intention to kill. Accidentally Jolly Kurien kills Nandu's father. With knowing Narayanan's story, Maran devises a plan to not let the issue known to others, to which everyone agrees. Narayanan's body is buried in a nearby church cemetery at that night itself. In the end of the day everyone is shown as happy in their karmic lives.

Merin refuses the amount of money gifted and asks him to show her around London before she leaves. Then Merin goes back to India. The next day, her aunt GracLena calls Vijay to tell that Merin has not reached her home yet. Grac's husband ThamikuttySunil, tells them that he will go to India to enquire about Merin but Vijay says that he will go because he is the one who is supposed to go. Pavitra's dad try to force him to stay, but Vijay says that he really likes Merin and he will go to India, no matter what. Pavitra helps him to go to India by convincing her dad to not stop him and personally drops him to the airport. Vijay reaches India. While in a taxi, Francis calls Vijay and directs him to go to Merin's home. Vijay reaches Merin's home to find her house being seized to debt. He finds out that Merin has reached home safely. The movie ends by Vijay reavealing to Pavitra that Merin had reached home safely, but lied to make Vijay realize his love for her.

The story starts with a monologue by David Abraham, IPS (Prithviraj) during the night of Christmas. When he leaves a party, he gets involved in an accident with Shan(Vinay Forrt) and Vinu(Anu Mohan). David takes them to hospital for treating Vinu's injury which he sustained while falling down from the bike. From the hospital Vinu escapes, to Shan's horror. David starts to suspect that there is something wrong. But Shan says there is no problem and David drops him at his place. Then he notices that Vinu has dropped his wallet in his jeep.
