The film begins with Manish Gupta (Aftab Shivdasani) in a press conference of his best-selling book " Life Mein Kabhie Kabhiee". It then goes into a flashback where the 5 friends (including himself)- Rajeev Arora (Dino Morea), Jai Gokhale (Sameer Dattani), Ishita Sharma (Anjori Alagh)and Monica Seth (Nauheed Cyrusi) are all fresh out of college. They are caught drunk and are in a lock-up. In the meantime they make a bet to determine who will find the most fulfillment in life. The winner will be the person who has found the most happiness in life within 5 years' time.

Vishal Dixit (Emraan Hashmi), a regular middle class man, is settled in Bangkok with his wife, Anjali (Sayali Bhagat) and their 5-year-old daughter, Nikki. Anjali and Vishal are trying to hold on to their deteriorating marriage which is already under tremendous pressure. One ordinary day, on his way to work, Vishal meets Roma (Geeta Basra), a beautiful, captivating woman. The attraction between them is instantaneous. As Vishal gets to know her better, he realizes that she too is a loner, trapped in a loveless marriage. They make out and have sex. He is torn between the two loves of his life. Just when Vishal thought life could not get more complicated, he realizes that his secret liaison is known to someone, an unknown elusive enemy who is bent on using the knowledge to destroy all three lives. Rocky (Zayed Khan) is a man who lives in Mumbai with his parents. Rocky's weakness is that he is very hot-tempered, unruly and ruffian. He very often gets into fights for injustice. One day he gets into a fight with a man who works for a criminal named Anthony (Rajat Bedi) and beats him up. Anthony warns him not to cross paths with him. One day while rocky is with his girlfriend Neha (Isha Sharvani), he sends Anthony's brother to the hospital. When Anthony finds out, he confronts Rocky and Neha and kills Neha. He mocks at Rocky. An angered Rocky loses control of himself, making his family turn him away. Anthony threatens Rocky's family to leave Mumbai. The family along with Rocky eventually moves to London. There Rocky try to forget his past life. His father lied to him that Anthony has been sentenced to death by the court. Three months later, Rocky's friend, Vikram Singh, visits to inform them of the progress of the criminal prosecution of Anthony. There Priya (Minnisha Lamba), a tour guide and Rocky's friend, is molested by some people. When she shouted to Rocky for help, he unlike before, took a conservative path and walks away with her without even reporting in police and she complaints Rocky to be a coward, Vikram tells Priya the truth about Rocky. The way he was living, why he's always quiet. Thereby Vikram tells him that Anthony has escaped the trial by killing both the eyewitnesses. On hearing this Rocky felt shattered and wants to get revenge. Later on Rocky travels back to India, along with his parents. Anthony comes to know that Rocky has returned to Mumbai. He then pays a visit to his home where he encounter Rocky's Dad. His Dad tells him to meet Rocky at the same spot where he had killed Neha several months ago. The movie ends on Rocky beating up Anthony badly.

The story is about a young widow named Drishti Nair (Bipasha Basu). She is a psychic and has the gift of seeing into the future of anybody. A scientist named Dr. Sanjay Mehra (director Rakesh Roshan) creates a computer program from which he sends variations of the syllable om into space, hoping to attract the attention of extraterrestrial life. When he believes he has finally gotten a response, the scientific community mocks him. While driving home, an alien spacecraft appears overhead. Dr. Mehra veers off the road, causing the car to hit a stone, flip over, and explode. Dr. Mehra dies, but his wife survives the wreck and returns home to India. When their son Rohit (Hrithik Roshan) is born, he is mentally disabled. His mother raises him in the town of Kasauli, where he grows up to be a man of limited intellect and childish personality, but with a loving and emotional heart. Rohit has a number of much younger friends: loyal children who play with him.
