Raven-Symoné Christina Pearman (/ˈreɪ.vən sɪˈmoʊn/; born December 10, 1985) is an American actress, comedian, model, singer, songwriter, dancer, television producer and talk show host. She first appeared on television in 1989 on The Cosby Show as Olivia Kendall. She released her debut album, Here's to New Dreams in 1993; the single, "That's What Little Girls Are Made Of" charted number 68 on the US Billboard Hot 100. The next album, Undeniable, was released on May 4, 1999.

Raven-Symoné appeared in several successful television series, such as The Cosby Show and Hangin' with Mr. Cooper, in the late 1980s and early 1990s. From 2003 to 2007, she starred in the Disney Channel series, That's So Raven in which she played Raven Baxter, a psychic teenager who tried her best to keep her psychic powers a secret. During her time on That's So Raven, Raven-Symoné released her third studio album, This is My Time (2004) which was her best selling solo album to date, charting at number 51 on the Billboard 200. A year after the end of That's So Raven, she released her fourth studio album, Raven-Symoné (2008). The album peaked at number 159 on the Billboard 200. During 2003 to 2006, she participated in four soundtracks from Disney, RIAA-certified double-platinum album, The Cheetah Girls (2003), RIAA-certified gold album, That's So Raven (2004), That's So Raven Too! (2006) and RIAA-certified platinum album, The Cheetah Girls 2 (2006). The soundtracks sold a combined 4.1 million copies in the U.S. alone. As of April 2008, Raven-Symoné has sold 314,000 albums in the United States.

Raven-Symoné transitioned to a film career, starring in several films aimed at young audiences, including Dr. Dolittle (1998), Dr. Dolittle 2 (2001), College Road Trip (2008), and successful television films, including Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century (1999), The Cheetah Girls (2003), its sequel Cheetah Girls 2 (2006), For One Night (2006), Revenge of the Bridesmaids (2010). Raven has also lent her voice to the animated series Kim Possible, for the character Monique and films such as Disney‘s Tinker Bell. In 2011, Symoné starred in the short-lived ABC Family comedy series State of Georgia as Georgia Chamberlain, an aspiring actress with a huge ego who moves to New York City to try her hand at an acting career. In 2012, Raven-Symoné ranked number nine on VH1‍‍ '​‍s "100 Greatest Kid Stars Of All Time" list.

In 2015, Symoné joined the cast of the new hit primetime drama Empire in the recurring role of Olivia, the vengeful ex-wife of one of the main characters. She stars alongside Terrence Howard, Malik Yoba, and Taraji P. Henson. In June 2015, she joined the ABC panel show The View, after a period of guest-hosting.

Biography

Regarding her sexual orientation, Raven-Symoné wrote on Twitter in May 2012: "My sexual orientation is mine, and the person I'm dating's to know. I'm not one for a public display of my life." In August 2013, Raven-Symoné commented on legalizing same-sex marriage, "I was excited to hear today that more states legalized gay marriage. I, however am not currently getting married, but it is great to know I can now, should I wish to".

In an October 2014 interview with Oprah Winfrey, she acknowledged being in an "amazing, happy relationship" with her female partner. She also described looking at both boys and girls as possible romantic interests at the age of twelve. In the same interview, Raven-Symoné explained that she rejects labels in all aspects of her life. Despite her racial origin and her same-sex relationship, she refuses to self-identify as either African-American or gay, but as an "American" and as a "human who loves humans." In 2015, Raven-Symoné introduced her partner AzMarie Livingston. When Raven-Symoné was 27, she briefly retired from acting and enrolled at Academy of Art University to pursue a degree in fine arts. She came out of retirement after joining The View. On October 20, 2015, Raven-Symoné announced that she had broken up with AzMarie after a three year relationship.

Fawn has rescued a baby hawk with a broken wing. She tries to hide it from the others as she tries to take it out of the forest as hawks eat fairies. The hawks arrive to attack and to reclaim the baby, but the scout-fairies are able to fend them off. Fawn is reprimanded by Queen Clarion for only following her heart and not her head. After helping the baby hawk return to its rightful place, Fawn hears an unfamiliar roar and decides to fly to the depths of the forest to investigate. She finds a strange creature that has never been seen before. After observing its behavior she surmises that it has traits similar to many different animals she's encountered, save for one peculiar activity. The beast is building mysterious towers of rock in each of the four sides of Pixie Hollow. She names him Gruff.

At the beginning of winter, everyone prepares for the final season of the year. Out of curiosity, Tinker Bell wants to go to the Winter Woods. The tinker fairies make snowflake baskets which are delivered by snowy owls. Later that day, she helps Fawn take the animals to the Woods to hibernate. While Fawn is busy, Tink crosses the border, and her wings start to glow. Seeing this, Tink is convinced that she is meant to explore the Woods. But Fawn warns her that her wings are freezing and rushes her to the fairy hospital. After being examined, she remains curious about her wings. Tink then flies off to the Book Nook, where she finds a book on Wingology, but finds the page on "Sparkling Wings" chewed up. A reading fairy tells her that the Keeper, the author who lives in the Winter Woods, might be able to help her.

The movie opens with the fairies making final preparations for the Pixie Hollow Games. Rosetta is busy helping to set up flowers for the big night, when she meets a new garden fairy named Chloe, who drops a lump of dirt in front of her, accidentally getting her dirty and, because she's ironically afraid of dirt, causing her to freak out until Silvermist douses her with a water droplet. Chloe announces she has been training for the Pixie Hollow Games and is excited to be competing. Even though the garden fairies have little hope of winning and haven’t ever won, Chloe is confident that she and her partner can turn things around and end the losing streak. When it comes time for the team selection, Chloe has already volunteered and Rosetta is selected to be her partner. She protests, but soon finds out that no one else is willing to compete. So she reluctantly agrees. Vidia remarks "This is going to be good," hoping that Rosetta will humiliate herself.

Like the other fairies, Tinker Bell attends fairy camp on the mainland. When she attempts to go find some lost things, Vidia asks her if she's going to the human house, which isn't far from camp. The question makes Tink curious and eventually sneaks off. Vidia follows behind to watch over her. When she reaches the house, she is amazed by their "horseless carriage". She takes the time to flitter around under the car, while Vidia tries to get her to leave. Eventually they do, but on their way back to camp, Tink and Vidia stumble upon a fairy-sized house made by Lizzy, a human girl who wishes to meet a real fairy. Tink immediately heads in to investigate, despite Vidia's constant warnings. Tink claims it to be perfectly safe, so Vidia slams the door shut in an attempt to scare her but unintentionally locks Tink inside. When Lizzy begins to approach the house, Vidia tries to free Tink to no avail. Lizzy discovers Tink inside and takes her to her home. She prepares to show Tink to her father, Dr. Griffiths, a very busy and serious scientist, but upon seeing all the butterflies he has pinned in display for research, she decides to keep Tink a secret.

After Caitlin is gone, Tony gets on one knee and proposes to Rachel and reveals that he lied and that he is still rich.
