Risto Pekka Kaskilahti (born January 29, 1963, Viitasaari) is a Finnish actor.
Kaskilahti has worked in the Helsinki City Theatre since 2001, but he came to the public's attention as a regular competitor on Se on siinä, a humorous sports quiz show, of which screenwriter he has also been. He has also portrayed in several movies and TV-series.
In 2005, Kaskilahti was awarded his second Telvis-prize. When performing on Elixir, a Finnish sports-focused TV-show, he trained with the official Finnish cross-country skiing team. Occasionally a weatherman for the channel Four news, Kaskilahti has also acted in various plays at the Helsinki City Theatre, e.g. Viivi & Wagner and a Beauty and the Beast musical.
Risto Kaskilahti is married to actress Sari Puumalainen having two daughter, Saara and Siiri, with her.

The sequel takes places a couple of months after the events of the first film, and follows the story of Niko, who must deal with his mother Oona getting re-married and thus, he gains a stepbrother named Jonni, whom Niko hates at first. However, when Jonni gets kidnapped by eagles, Niko flies off to rescue him. During his journey in saving his little stepbrother, Niko is joined by an old, near-blind reindeer named Tobias, who is revealed to be the former leader of Santa's Flying Forces. However, standing in Niko's way is also White Wolf, Black Wolf's younger sister, who is the leader of the eagles and wants revenge on Niko for her brother's death. Now, Niko and the rest of the team must come up with a plan to save Jonni, defeat White Wolf and return home.

Niko, a young reindeer, was told by Oona, his mother, that his father is one of the "Flying Forces", Santa's flying sled reindeer. Niko dreams of joining his dad as a flying reindeer but he is unable to fly. While trying to fly with the encouragement of Julius, a flying squirrel who takes on the role of a mentor and father figure, the other young reindeer teased Niko. To avoid further teasing, Niko and his friend Saga leave their protected valley so Niko can practice without any disruptions. Niko gets spotted by two of the wolves, and escapes to his herd in panic, not thinking about the repercussions. While the herd is fleeing the valley, Niko overhears others talking of how his actions have damaged the herd. He decides to leave the herd in an attempt to find his father and Santa's Fell.

The film begins with Rölli going to look for some firewood. As he is about to chop an old tree, the tree begins to speak to him begging to instead collect the dead branches from the ground, promising that he'll repay the favour if he ever has the chance. All the while, Rölli is stalked by Big Rölli. He encounters a Forest Fairy (Maahiskeiju) and tries to scare her, but gets captured by Big Rölli instead. The Forest Fairy uses a log which the Big Rölli dragged with him to hit him on his foot to release Rölli. The two escape from Big Rölli and become friends.
