Riza Aziz is co-founder and current CEO of Red Granite Pictures, a Los Angeles-based film production, finance and international sales company behind such films as The Wolf of Wall Street directed by Martin Scorsese and starring Leonardo DiCaprio; the hit romantic comedy Friends With Kids starring Jon Hamm, Megan Fox, Jennifer Westfeldt, Kristen Wiig, Adam Scott, Maya Rudolph, Ed Burns and Chris O’Dowd; and the supernatural fantasy/thriller Horns starring Daniel Radcliffe. In addition, he has executive-produced the gritty drama Out of the Furnace starring Christian Bale, Casey Affleck, Woody Harrelson, and Zoe Saldana, which will be released on December 6, 2013.
Prior to Red Granite Pictures, Aziz’s primary focus was investment banking, mergers & acquisitions advisory services to global clients in the oil & gas industry, and UK middle market companies in various sectors (including real estate, automotives, and metals & mining). Aziz holds a BS degree in Government & Economics and an MS in Politics from the London School of Economics. He is also a registered authorized person with the UK Financial Services Authority.
In 2011 Variety magazine named Aziz to their list of Top 10 Producers to Watch. On June 18, 2013, it was announced that Riza Aziz and Joey McFarland's Red Granite Pictures will produce Bobby and Peter Farrelly's Dumb and Dumber To with a projected release date of November 14, 2014. Biography
