Romeo Tirone is an American cinematographer and television director. He is best known for his work on the television series Dexter, for which he was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Cinematography for a One-Hour Series in 2008 for the episode "The British Invasion".

The ever-optimistic Joline (Heather Graham) faces a challenge when her husband, flaky news photographer Carl (Luke Wilson), leaves her to find himself in Texas. Joline tracks Carl down and observes him, acquainting herself with his schedule and new friends (including his new girlfriend, Carmen (Patricia Velásquez) and his quirky neighbor, Niko (Goran Visnjic). Eventually Carl spots Joline, and Joline seeks new ways of returning Carl to her life, up to and including mystic remedies provided by Carmen's grandfather. Howie Blitzer is deeply affected by the death of his mother in a car accident on the Long Island Expressway. His situation is exacerbated by his acrimonious relationship with his distant father Marty, who brought a trophy girlfriend into the house less than a month after his wife's death. Howie's only solace is the company of his best friend Gary, a juvenile delinquent and hustler. Although Gary is attracted to Howie, Howie is unsure of his own sexuality. They have two other friends their age, one of whom has an incestuous relationship with his sister. The four boys routinely break into neighborhood houses.
