A young couple, Zach and Samantha McCall, have recently married and have gone to the Dominican Republic for their honeymoon. They visit a fortune teller who keeps repeating to Samantha, "they've been waiting". Afterwards, the couple finds themselves lost on an unknown street they do not remember seeing. Wanting to return to their hotel, they get offered a lift from a pushy cab driver who offers to take them to a local bar. The couple reluctantly accepts. The couple begin partying and both soon pass out drunk. They are both then seemingly taken to an underground chamber in the nightclub where Sam is subject to some kind of ritual by an unseen force. La chaîne de restauration rapide American Chicken Bunker a construit un de ses restaurants sur le site d'un vieux cimetière indien. Ainsi les contestataires alter-mondialistes du CLAM (College Lesbian Against Mega-conglomerates) manifestent. Ethan Dulles (who calls himself "Cool Ethan") (Jason Schwartzman), a classmate obsessed with Angela to the extent of collecting loose hairs and making a hair doll and having surveillance photos and a shrine to Angela setup in his dorm room, takes her exam question sheet after Angela leaves and uses it to repeatedly confront and then blackmail the guys into setting up a successful date with Angela for him in exchange for his silence on the matter. The guys set Ethan up in multiple situations in an attempt to convince Angela to like him, while Dave tells Sam during their work researching her that Angela is no more important to him as any other scam they've done. Ethan fails to attract her after frequent confrontations based on his delusional behavior, immaturity and ignorance of social norms.

When a deranged criminal is caught, he is then being transported on a Boeing 747-100 to New York, along with some other criminals. Through a stroke of luck he is able to subdue the Federal agents assigned to bring him, free the other criminals, and take over the 747. He then threatens to crash the 747 into a populated area unless his demands are met. The FBI agent who captured him then decides to get on the 747 while in flight to do something. He does but things don't go as planned, and the criminal continues his plan to crash the 747 unless the agent can do something, the military is going to shoot the plane down.
