Sergey Victorovich Zhigunov (Russian: Серге́й Викторович Жигунов, alternate spelling Sergei Zhigunov) (born 2 January 1963) is a Russian actor and producer.
Sergey Zhigunov was born in Rostov-on-Don, Russia. He graduated from the Shchukin Theater School in Moscow. Since 1990, he has been in charge of the Chance film studio (part of Mosfilm). In 2000, he became the President of the Russian Film Actors Guild. His most famous roles as an actor were in "Queen Margot", "Hearts of Three" (by Jack London), "Nero Wolfe and Archie Goodwin", and "Gardemariny, Vperyod". He also starred in the Russian remake of the American sitcom "The Nanny".
In August 2012, he begun to direct The Three Musketeers Russian TV adaptation.
En 2000-2004, Jigounov préside la Guilde d'acteurs de cinéma de Russie. A plusieurs reprises, il est membre du jury du jeu télévisé KVN.
En 2013, l'artiste signe son premier film, une adaptation télévisée des Trois Mousquetaires.

Biography
Sergueï est le fils de Viktor et Galina Jigounov, tous deux acteurs de théâtre. En 1980, il est admis à l'École d'art dramatique Boris Chtchoukine. Il interrompe ses études pour participer à divers projets cinématographiques, et n'obtient son diplôme qu'en 1986. Il est distingué Artiste émérite de la Fédération de Russie en 1995. En 1997, le prix du meilleur rôle masculin lui est remis au Festival du cinéma russe à Honfleur, pour sa performance dans La Princesse sur un petit pois (Принцесса на бобах) de Villen Novak .En 2000-2004, Jigounov préside la Guilde d'acteurs de cinéma de Russie. A plusieurs reprises, il est membre du jury du jeu télévisé KVN.
En 2013, l'artiste signe son premier film, une adaptation télévisée des Trois Mousquetaires.
