Skye McCole Bartusiak (September 28, 1992 – July 19, 2014) was an American film and television actress. She appeared in The Patriot (2000), Don't Say a Word (2001), as Rose Wilder in Beyond the Prairie: The True Story of Laura Ingalls Wilder (2002), 24 (2002-2003), Boogeyman (2005), and Kill Your Darlings (2006).

McCole Bartusiak died at age 21 in her apartment behind her parents' home. Her death was ruled the result of an accidental drug overdose.

Biography

Elle n'est pas la seule actrice dans la famille ; son frère, Stephan Dylan Bartusiak, a en effet aussi joué devant la caméra. Elle figure aussi bien dans des films populaires comme Le Jeu du prophète (1999) et The Patriot, le chemin de la liberté (2000), qu'à la télévision. En 2001, elle est apparue dans beaucoup de films comme Pas un mot et Écarts de conduite.

Sa mort survenue le 19 juillet 2014 est officiellement attribuée à une surdose accidentelle de plusieurs médicaments.

Marty Claridge (Katherine Heigl) has just moved out to the West with her husband Aaron Claridge (Oliver Macready), who dies in a riding accident shortly after.
