Sophia Ewaniuk (born May 10, 2002) is a Canadian child film and television actress who landed her first major role as Emma Conroy in ABC's series Happy Town. She had been nominated for a recurring lead in a television series Happy Town and a guest star role in Flashpoint Young Artist Awards: in 2011.

Shortly after Happy Town ended, Sophia went on to play the guest star role of Riley Adler on CTV’s drama Flashpoint in an episode called Severed Ties. She has also appeared in the USA Network series Covert Affairs in the episode called The Outsiders.

Sophia has appeared as Young Gretl in the movie Gretl, an original movie by the Sci Fi Channel starring Shannon Doherty.

Sophia Ewaniuk voiced the twins, Ada and Ida, in the TVOKids/Disney Junior animation series called Ella the Elephant.

Ewaniuk's older brother Jacob is also a child actor.

In 1990, ten-year-old Jane Claremont (Emily Alyn Lind ) is infatuated with her imaginary friend Michael (Gage Munroe), much to the dismay of her mother Vivienne (Channing), who even sends her daughter to therapy because of him. Vivienne, who is bitter since going through a tough divorce, has lost all hope in love, and reflects these feelings on young Jane. Michael tries to prevent Jane from believing her, and assures her that real love exists. On Christmas Eve, Jane's birthday, her mother takes her to Tiffany & Co in New York City to buy a gift, an annual 'event'. While Vivienne shops, Jane picks out a yellow diamond ring to try on, which Michael tells her will be her wedding ring someday. Then Michael tells her that she is now 'grown up', at the 'age of awareness' and he has to leave her at 5:15pm, the moment of her birth. Jane doesn't understand and begs him to stay, but he departs, and Jane is devastated.

The Day follows a group of five survivors in a post-apocalyptic world as they travel through a bleak environment in an attempt to find food, shelter, and a safe place to stop running from tribes of savage cannibals that roam the country-side. They hope to plant several jars of seeds that they either stole or found during their journey. There was at some point twelve in their group, but it is not known how the others died or how long the remaining five have been on the run.
