George, popularly credited as Spadikam George is an Indian actor, primarily concentrating in Malayalam films. He came to limelight with the 1995 released Malayalam blockbuster Spadikam. George's performance in the film won him good reviews as his antagonist role opposite Mohanlal was an unprecedented success. Even though he never got another author-backed role, he has done important characters including comic roles in his later releases. He is one of the most important character actors of Malayalam cinema.
George has also done prominent roles in documentaries, the most notable being Messenger, a short film produced by the De Paul Public School in Kottayam which is under the ownership of Vincentian Family. Produced on a budget of ₹1 lakh (US$1 500), it made about ₹5 lakh (US$7 500) through advertisements from a single showing on Jeevan TV in December 2011. George was paid over ₹40000 (US$600), nearly half of the budget.

Ramu (Saiju Kurup), who is an ardent film buff, is nurturing exalted hopes of making it big as an actor someday. He is a diehard fan of young macho superstar Abhiram (Rajiv Pillai), the heartthrob of youngsters. Ramu's father (P.Balachandran) runs a wayside ramshackle tea stall. Ramu looks down upon the lifestyle that has been bequeathed on him by his father. His cinematic ambitions which was going nowhere, suddenly receive a shot in the arm as he manages to emerge winner in a reality show, which offers the winner a chance to spend ten days with superstar Abhiram. Ramu accompanied by his sidekick (Bijukuttan) and a naive moneylender (Guinness Pakru), who is reluctant to let Ramu scot- free before his debt is settled, arrives at the superstar's home. The Superstar finds himself at his wits end, unable to tolerate the cumbersome threesome, who plays havoc with his privacy.

The movie tells the story of a village called Chembattunadu in Chamarajanagar District on the borders of Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu, which is popular as Chattambinadu for the presence of several goons and hooligans. According to Vadival Vasu (Janardanan), it was the severe animosity between Mallanchira and Kattappilly families that has caused the arrival of several goons to the land, including him, which made Chattambinadu notorious. The film begins with Mallanchira Chandramohan's(Manoj K. Jayan) plan to sell off his mansion, to pay up his heavy debts. But Kattappilly Nagendran (Siddique), plays all ways to stop the sale. The local police inspector (Saju kodiyan) informs Chandramohan about Virendra Mallaya (Mammootty), a popular rich brat with strong criminal background, who also has strong passion in real estate. Chandramohan approaches Mallayya, who refuses to take up the mansion in the beginning. But upon the request from Dr.Lakshmi (Meenakshi), his friend, who also hails from Chattambinadu, he decides to buy the property, inviting strong opposition from Nagendran. Mallayya, who speaks Malayalam with strong Kannada accent, arrives at Chattambinadu along with Murugan (Vinu Mohan), his secretary, who is also more like his brother. At Chattambinadu, he comes across Vadival Vasu and his family consisting of daughters Gowri (Lakshmi Rai) and Meenakshi(Mythili). To create a rift among the villagers and Mallayya, under the instruction, Dashamoolam Damu (Suraj Venjarammood), on one night steals the lorry of Malaya and drives it into the house of Vasu, demolishing it. But Mallaya promises to repair the house with his own money. Murugan, who within this time had developed a soft feeling towards Meenakshi, takes them along with Maakri Gopalan (Salim Kumar) to Mallaya's house. Dr.Lakshmi on her day of arrival at Chattambinadu on vacation comes to know from her brother that Nagendran has decided to marry her, without the approval of her parents. Shocked Lakshmi even witnesses Nagendran violently thrashing her fiance, making him flee. Lakshmi explains her condition to Mallaya, who promises her all help. Gowri, who witnesses their conversation mistakes them of being in love. She gets jealous as she had within this time fell in love with him. Chandramohan, on a casual talk, tells Mallaya, about Veeru, his servant boy, who had once attacked his father Mallanchira Unnithan (Vijayaraghavan) and ran away with all his hard earned money. Chandramohan also adds that his only aim in life is to find out Veeru and avenge him by killing him for the crime done to his father. Veerendra Mallaya, on hearing this story is really shocked as he is none other than Veeru, who had once ran away. Chandramohan, on understanding the relation between Meenakshi and Murugan, approaches Mallaya to get them married. Also Vasu wants Mallaya to marry Gowri, his elder daughter. One night Mallaya reveals his story to Vasu, whom he had assaulted with sword in a bid to escape years back. Unnithan had got Veeru, a Kannadiga boy, who understood not a single world in Malayalam from street. Unnithan and his family took care of him well and treated him as their own son. One sudden day, in middle of a trip, Unnithan gets into an argument with Kattapilly Kurup, who tries to snatch the suitcase consisting of huge amount. In an attempt to save Unithan Veeru attacks Kuruppu and on the advice of Unnithan, runs away with the bag. But on hearing the cry of Unnithan, he comes back to see that Unnithan is severely wounded as attacked by Kattapilly Nagendran, son of Kuruppu. Kuruppu, then calls up people and tells them that it is Veeru who had killed Unithan, making him run for life. In an attempt to save himself, he assaults Vasu and jumps into river. The police inspector (Sai Kumar), who arrests him after a couple of days interrogates in Malayalam, and Veeru, who knows not a single word in Malayalam is confused, where by accepts his charges. But on realising that he is framed, he escapes from police. He also adds that it is Kattappilly Kuruppu, who is behind the crime. Mallaya is also shocked to find Unnithan at the house of Chandramohan, who is now paralysed, who also had lost the ability to speak after the incident.

Kambilikkandam Jose (Subair), a drug baron reaches down to Kochi to meet Pattakkalil Purushothaman Pillai (Vijayaraghavan), demanding a huge hike in his commission. Popularly known as Appichai, Purushothaman Pillai is one of the largest drug dealer in south India, along with Sethumadhavan (Sai Kumar), his foster son. Appichai calls back Sethu, who is on a vacation in a cruise ship in Goa. Sethu, on his arrival back in Kochi kills Jose, with the help of Balagopal (Ramu), the IG of Police. But the death of Jose creates a strong protest inside the state and the Chief Minister (Janardhanan) orders a detailed investigation on the matter. Narendran (Mammootty), the Assistant Commissioner of police, is assigned the charge of investigation. Popularly known as Nari (tiger), for his aggressive and belligerent style of behavior, Narendran, begins his probe by questioning Dr. Ratnakumari (Urmila Unni), the assistant surgeon, who conducted the postmortem of Jose. Nari finds out marks of physical assault on his face, which was not mentioned in the report. He reaches our to the family of Jose, who, on the next day is found dead in the suburbs of the city. Sethumadhavan, who also holds an illegal business partnership with the son of the state chief minister, is one of the most influential businessman in the country. Under the pretext of Karunyadeepam, a spiritual ashram, under Rema Bai/Rema Behan (Prabha Dutt), Sethu runs a vast drug network along South India. Narendran, through his strong and sharp methods reaches out to Rema Behan, who on the next day is found dead in her sleep. On his path, Narendran finds several obstacles including the son of the CM and several senior police officers and in the end, the CM itself, who decides to withdraw Narendram from the charge of investigation. How Nari over comes the pressures and finishes off the evil forces including Sethumadhavan and brings justice at the end, forms the rest of the story.

The movie is set into motion when a large cache of arms is discovered in the land belonging to the local businessman Hussein Sahib (Rizabawa). On investigation, Inspector Varma (Mukesh) finds that Hussein Sahib has no idea about this, but the land was used by someone called Anali Bhaskaran. The Inspector, along with his colleagues Sudhakaran (Jagadeesh) go to arrest Bhaskaran, but they are given a good fight. As the police are being beaten, the screen alternates between a police jeep appearing on the scene and Anali Bhaskaran trying to knife people. Suddenly a hand appears in the scene and beats Bhaskaran.
