Steve Golin (born March 6, 1955) is the founder and CEO of Anonymous Content LLP, a multimedia development, production and talent management company and co-founder and former CEO of Propaganda Films.
Steve Golin rencontre Joni Sighvatsson alors qu'ils participaient aux programmes de l'organisation American Film Institute. Ensemble, et avec l'appui des réalisateurs David Fincher, Dominic Sena, Greg Gold et Nigel Dick, ils créent en 1986 Propaganda Films, une société de production qui découvre des réalisateurs tels que Michael Bay, Spike Jonze ou Michel Gondry. Ils produiront également des films de David Lynch ou Jane Campion.
Suite au rachat de Propaganda Films, Steve Golin fonde au début des années 2000 la société de production Anonymous Content.

Steve Golin fait des études de cinéma à l'université Tisch School of the Arts à New York, où il obtient son diplôme en 1976.Steve Golin rencontre Joni Sighvatsson alors qu'ils participaient aux programmes de l'organisation American Film Institute. The film follows a group of criminals and corrupt cops who find themselves in serious trouble. The Russian mafia is blackmailing them, and the only way to deal with them is to perform what is believed to be an extremely challenging heist. The story opens in 2010, with the release of the Afghan War Logs. It then flashes back to 2007, where journalist Daniel Domscheit-Berg meets Australian computer hacker Julian Assange for the first time, at the Chaos Communication Congress in Berlin. Daniel's interest in online activism has led him to Assange, with whom he has corresponded by email. They begin working together on WikiLeaks, a website devoted to releasing information being withheld from the public while retaining anonymity for its sources. Their first major target is a private Swiss bank, Julius Baer, whose Cayman Islands branch has been engaged in illegal activities. Despite Baer's filing of a lawsuit and obtaining an injunction, the judge dissolves the injunction, allowing Julian and Daniel to reclaim the domain name. As their confidence increases, the two push forward in publishing information over the next three years, including secrets on Scientology, revealing Sarah Palin's email account, and the membership list of the British National Party.
