Steve Huison (born 2 December 1962, Leeds, West Riding of Yorkshire), is a British actor, mostly on TV and occasional films. He trained at the Rose Bruford College in Sidcup, Kent. He is best known for his role as "Lomper" in the massively successful UK box-office and critical hit The Full Monty (1997). He also appeared in a Ken Loach film The Navigators, made in 2001. He has played character roles in such TV series as Casualty, Where the Heart Is, dinnerladies, Heartbeat, The Royle Family and Scott & Bailey.

In January 2008, Huison took the role of porter Norman Dunstan in ITV1 daily hospital drama The Royal Today, a spin-off of popular Sunday night drama The Royal.

From 2008 to 2011, Huison played Eddie Windass in Coronation Street.

He is also a co-founder of the Shoestring Theatre Company.
He most recently starred in the 4 O'Clock Club before leaving for when the 2nd season began in January 2013.

Walter Sparrow plays the role of an elderly, emphysema-laden Yorkshire miner who is about to retire. In a bleak, post-industrialist landscape, the old miner meets a boy who is reciting a poem about Prometheus. The youth is played by Jonathan Waintridge. The miner eventually ends up in a depleted local cinema and, though sick with emphysema, he defiantly lights-up a cigarette. With the old miner at the theatre, the run-down projection equipment suddenly comes to life and projections appear on the old screen.
