Summer Bodhi Nicks, also known just as 'Summer Nicks' is an Australian film director, writer and actor. In 2012-13 his film Seedlings won a string of prestigious film festival accolades including Best Film, People's Choice Award at the New York City International Film Festival and the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation Film Festival with his leading lady, Aamina Sheikh picking up the Best Actress Award twice. The film also won Best Film at the DC South Asian Film Festival in Washington. Summer was also nominated in the Best Original Screenplay category at several other film festivals. He has recently finished his directorial debut, a high octane, action spy thriller Operation 021 and is in pre-production for his current feature film, 'Shambhala', a mystical action adventure to be shot in Australia and Central Asia.
Summer has also appeared in several feature films and TV Series though he prefers to remain uncredited for his acting work.
