Sunil Grover (born 3 August 1977) is an Indian actor and stand-up comedian born into a Punjabi Hindu family. He did his schooling from Arya Vidya Mandir, Mandi Dabwali and from Guru Nanak College. He has done his masters in theatre from Panjab University, Chandigarh.
After having done local stage work for some time, he worked with Jaspal Bhatti and later ventured out on his own. Sunil's television career began as a movie jockey in the show Chala Lallan Hero Banne' on the movie channel Filmy. He was the brand ambassador for the channel for a while.
He also acted in India's first silent show, SAB TV's Gutur Gu in the initial 26 episodes. He was part of the stand up comedy show Comedy Nights with Kapil and became immensely popular playing the fictional character Guthi. He later returned to play the role of father-in-law to the show’s lead Kapil Sharma.
Sunil Grover and Manish Paul started a comedy show on Star Plus, titled "Mad in India".

Raghu Ram (Sushant Singh Rajput) is a tourist guide in Jaipur who doubles up as a rental baraati for Goyal (Rishi Kapoor), a wedding planner. Paro Dev (Abhay Deol), the son of a rich businessman, is an insecure narcissist. He and Paro (Mahi Gill) are childhood sweethearts. Instead of acknowledging her affection and care, Dev nudges Paro over frivolous things. He is sent to London for higher studies when his father senses how spoilt his son is. While separated by distance, Paro and Dev's youthful love only blossoms more. After finishing his studies, Dev returns to Chandigarh and meets Paro. Their endeavor to make love makes for some dark comic moments. When Dev hears rumours about Paro, he immediately believes them and ditches her. The seeds of suspicion are sown here, which the couple are never able to weed out. What makes them fall apart is mutual suspicion and an essentially male vision of how a woman should conduct herself sexually. Paro turns her back on him when she hears him insult her and agrees to marry a man of her parents' choice. On her wedding day, Dev learns that the rumors were false but his ego doesn't let him accept his mistake, and he lets Paro marry someone else.

The story is based on the concept of karma and bad deeds. Viren Sahai (Amitabh Bachchan), is an underworld don who rules over India.
