Callie Carpenter (Vinessa Shaw) is a misguided teenager sent to stay for the summer with her aunt and uncle, Maggie and Mitchell Foster (Cindy Pickett and Ed Lauter), on their horse ranch. Chester Lee (Rodney Dangerfield) is desperate for a promotion at work. To impress his boss, he claims to have been a good soccer player in his youth and is badgered into coaching a girls' team called the Ladybugs.
