Appalaraju (Sunil) is a film lover and he watches films regularly at Rambha Theatre in Amalapuram in a critical way and wonders why the directors are bringing out such films and his life ambition is to direct a film better than all the established directors. He leaves for Hyderabad and stays in his friend"s (Satyam Rajesh) house, with his script titled Nayaki. His friend takes him to an audio release function, where he meets a producer called Rakhee (Raghu Babu). He and his creative head Pushpanand (Harshavardhan) read the script and suggest some changes. But Appalaraju does not agree to change even a single word in it. Then Rakhee suggests Appalaraju to convince the top heroine of the film industry Kanishka (Sakshi Gulati) as her nod would help them fetch financiers.

Nagendra Naidu (Nagendra Babu) is a powerful police officer. He wants to see his son Radhakrishna (Nitin) also as a good police officer. He always dreams of his son bashing the dons and get a state government's medal which should be presented through his hands. However, his wife Sarala (Kovai Sarala) wants to see her son as a super star. Then a peculiar GO gets passed by which any honest person is eligible for a Police job. As Nagendra Naidu convinces his wife that all the training that is needed for a film hero could be learnt in just three months time in the Police Academy, Sarala agrees to join him in the Police Academy. Radhakrishna falls in love with Krishnaveni (Bhavana) at the police academy. The latter too loses her heart to him. At this juncture, her photo appears in the TV saying that she was a big Naxalite leader. The actual story gets revealed with a small twist. Who created Krishnaveni as a Naxalite or did she really a Naxalite? What happened to the love between Radha and Krishna? How far, Radha was able to fulfil the dream of his father Nagendra Naidu? Answers to all these questions form part of the second half.

Mass (Nagarjuna Akkineni) is an orphan, who bonds well with his landlord's son Adi (Sunil). He is behind a collegian Anjali (Jyothika) who happens to be the daughter of Vizag city's mafia don Satya (Raghuvaran). This restricts her from falling for him, as it would land him in danger but she finally gives in after some time. She suggests that he ties the knot immediately before her brother (Rahul Dev) and father try separating them. The gangsters in the process kill Mass's best friend Adi, when he tries to stop them when they try separating the lead pair, before their marriage. The hero moves into Vizag and stays in an apartment hiding his identity to take revenge on the mafia dons. Finally his quest for revenge is completed, and also he eliminates the anti-social elements in the society by killing them.

Satyam (Sumanth) is an aspiring lyric writer who has a knack for inadvertently getting misunderstood by the two people he cares for the most—his father (Malladi Raghava) and his love interest Ankita (Genelia D'Souza). Because he and his father don't get along, Satyam leaves home and starts living with his friends. A sensitive man and a talented writer, Satyam ghost-writes for a popular film lyricist. The movie starts with Sravani (Tanu Roy) and Subramanyam (Ravi Teja), strangers to each other, meeting at suicide point of Vizag seashore. They realize that their goal is the same. Suicide, that is! They describe to each other their reasons to end their lives and duly write suicide notes. Sravani's reason is her nagging relatives who are also guardians of her. They are after Sravani's ancestral money. A friend who took a lump some of money by offering to get a job in Dubai cheated Subramanyam. Sravani and Subramanyam fulfil their last wishes with the help of each other. They consume ample amount of sleeping pills in a bid to end their lives in the room of Subramanyam. The house owner rescues them. Subramanyam lands up with a plum job later as the relatives of Sravani take her back to the home. Subramanyam's marriage gets fixed with a girl of his mother's choice and Sravani's marriage with her maternal uncle. Sravani and Subramanyam flee from their respective marriage halls independently. The rest of the film is about how the lovers unite. In this film, Samrin acts as the boss's daughter loving Ravi Teja. She is the glamor doll of the film and turned out to be a big relief for this otherwise serious love subject. She added another angle to the love to make this film triangular. Music for this film was by Chakri. K. Dutt worked as the cinematographer for this film.
